Man I'll tell you what, nintendo has not always had the best games, but the hardware is pretty solid, our house hold has 2 Working GBCs and I know someone with a slim Game Boy, and yes I know of 2 working original fat Game Boy my grandma and buddy.
Does anybody still have a working GBC?

Yes! I got the GBC when it first came out and its still alive and as functional as new.

I still have mine, and it works too.It was the one I got with Pokemon Yellow, except me and my bro traded backs, so I have a green back on it instead of the original blue color.I used to have a working Gameboy, but sold it to a pawn shop.

I have two working GBC and a working Gameboy. They're both in really good condition too. I don't play really often though, and I tend to keep them in pretty safe places. None of them have greatly scratched screens, they all have the battery covers and they all have working buttons and sound.. so I'm really happy with them!I'd sell my original gameboy, but they're not worth enough here to even bother.

Heh mine stll works as does my game boy pocket and my game boy original I got like 10 years ago. It's so fat but it works.

I have a GBC, although the speakers are busted, but my brother and sister each have a working GBC. We've got about, oh, 15-20 games for them.

dude gameboys are the most durable things in the world. I wish everything was a durable as my gameboy. I had the original gray one for 7 years before it started to break down.

I still have the clear purple one and ithink it still works. It's missing the battery cover though.

I got mine in 1997 too. The gameboy itself still works but the game cartridges ran out of battaries

I've still got mine, it's a translucent purple one.Never use it any more, but it still works fine.The GBC is a robust little machine
