Anti-Flame)I don't like Link as the all time greatest Hero.Because there's more than one of him. I don't know...I'm more of a MasterChief, Gordon Freeman fan.And the F.E.A.R. guy if he ever gets a name.Down to Earth people. Who do with what they got and don't(actually can't) accept help.If I had to, the greatest Incarnation of Link would be ocarina of time. Just because he had to put up with the realization that he had just missed 7 years of his life and was the cause of everything that was plaguing the world than.

Gordon Freeman is my new hero. I don't like those nintendo heroes actually, but Link is cool 8). I like sonic though since he's cool and fast and he doesn't talk that irritating Italian-english( this is if you've seen the first sonic series) like mario.

Earthworm Jim, he's a worm in a suit of muscles, trying to save a Princess Bee. It all ends pretty badly for him too, but in a funny way. Jim's always been one of my favorite characters.

You can not count Mario out here he has had the most adventures and no matter what the odds consistanly defeats Bowser and saves Peach. He has saved the world through 2-D side scrolling, 3-D platforming, RPG, and even as a peice of paper.

Gotta go with Ryu from the Breath of Fire series. The strong silent type who if you push him too far turns into a dragon and eats you. What's not to love?
