MK2 was kinda okay, but it's impossible to hit your enemy at times even with special moves. 1 and 3-> were crap.2/5

Not a "flawless victory" and maybe a little close to "Outstanding" with the first games like MK 1, 2, and 3 the mortal kombat series is ok with the charecters and the moves and such, and since they made the movie it was pretty succesful.I rate the MK series a 4 out of 5.

MK will live for ever. 1 2 & 3... I used to know all of the charachter's moves from all three games.

Yeah, the quality of the games brought it down a bit, but MK remains a landmark series in the gaming empire. It was one of the foundations of the fighting genre. Also, with the newest game shaolin monks, it shows that it can expand beyond one genre.

I gave the whole series a 3, I loved the first 2 games ( I only play them in MAME32 though now...though the SNES ver. of 2 rocked).After that, I think they lost their touch, especially when Boon and Tobias stopped working together.

I never really liked Mortal Kombat, but... well... I give it a 2/5 because of the graphics.
i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.
i carried it around with me for days. and days.
playing little games.
like. not looking at it for a whole day.
and then. looking at it.
to see if I still liked it.

The series started off rather good but then they kinda screwed them up by completely changing the storyline.

3/5 The older ones were fun to play, but once they've gone 3d (mk 4 and later) the serie just lost it's charm.

MK II is a classic that can't be missed by any MK fans out there. Not to forget that Shaolin Monks is a great fighting adventure that brings back a lot of memories in MK II. MK Mythology - Sub Zero, I enjoyed it very much because the mood of the game and storyline.
