Well i v played both games and i personally like pokemon better because u could just look at teh pictures all day and yu go oh is more playin and pokemon is more of like showing off so pokemon cards here

personally i have played both, i like Yu Gi Oh better. The card games... Well Pokemon was a little abstract in a way. Yu Gi Oh made more sense because it had traps and magics which kind of simulated situations that are more probable. (i mean, when you look at it neither one is really probable, but as probable as it gets) The magics and Traps made it more real almost. Just imagine, change the names and pictures of the cards and you could almost make an entirely new cardgame that makes perfect sense.Example: Trap Jammer with something like trap hole. Change traphole to "Landmine" and change Trap Jammer to "disarm" and u got urself an "army" version of Yu Gi Oh, lol.ok, its kind of a crude example... but i hope you get my point.

Obviously Pokemon. Something about trading cards based on a show focused upon trading cards weirds me out.Either way, I haven't played with Pokemon cards in years, haha.

Yu-Gi oH definietly, alot more action with the battles but what I hate about it is the amount of calculations to lose and gain points.

The Yugioh games are a lot more fun. There's a bunch of people playing it with better touneys.

I dont really know how to play pokemon so ill go with yu gi oh becuase of the stratigy and the gameplay but for the characters ill pick pokemon

I think Yu gi oh cards is best. There are a much bigger varity and they have lots of different Attack and Defence points. There are also lots of effects. Pokemon cards doesn't have a very big differenceYou also must have a sence for stragity when you are playing Yu gi oh.

personally, i have played both before, and i find yugioh to be much of a better choice. the game is more versatile and is not 1 sided. pokemon normally determines a winner when they have enough energy card and evolved pokemon, however, yugioh is different. there can be a card that turn the tide.
