The trap and magic cards in Yugioh would own Pokemon cards definitely. Plus yugioh cards look a lot cooler.

as Yu Gi Oh is interesting to above 14 it has the upper handWhich is better: Pokemon Cards or Yu Gi Oh Cards???

To be honest the yugioh card game is so much better than the pokemon game. I mean they based the anime and everything on the game which shows how good it is

I want to say Pokemon, It's still good to play once you remember the rules. Yu-gi-oh's rules are ever changing. They keep banning cards and unbanning cards. Its getting annoying. But this is just my opinion.

Personally think that, both card games have some sort of fun and complications in their own ways. Except that, Yu Gi Oh goes by life points while Pokemon doesn't. Don't really like the new speed duel in Yu Gi Oh, my speed deck was like only traps and monsters. The last time I played Pokemon cards was ... the GBA version like 3 years back or something. Since they haven't released card games for pokemon on things like NDS, I'd go with Yu Gi Oh. (Not a fan of spending thousands on physical cards)

Wow... this brings back memories. Hmmmm... Which to choose which to choose... I've played both games but, I haven't played Pokemon Card game against other people for as long as I have played Yu gi oh, so don't expect me to know much about it, especially if the rules have changed since 2001 (Which it probably has, but I'm going to compare them based on stocked knowledge)Similarities: Both involve complicated game plays, allowing the players to think up more than 64 ways to win.Both involve Units (Monsters for Yu gi oh; Pokemon for Pokemon)Both involve Supportive cards (Magic and Trap cards for Yu gi oh; Trainer cards for Pokemon)Both have cards that may affect the field (Like Morphtronic Map or other similar field cards for Yu gi oh and Pokemon powers for Pokemon)Both have a 5 card starting hand and a 7 card limit (I'm not sure if this is still true for Pokemon)Both have card effects that damage all units on the fieldBoth have a 40 minimum deck and 60 maximum deckBoth have cards featuring characters from the anime (Pokemon has "Misty", "Erika", etc.; Yugioh has "Yu-Jo friendship and Unity")Differences: Yu gi oh monsters don't need energy to attackPokemon only has 1 active attacker, while Yu gi oh may have up to 5I don't think Pokemon cards have double attack (Attack twice in one turn)Pokemon does not have destroy all monsters cards such as Raigeki... both? cant decide. Yu-Gi-Oh is more fun to play but Pokemon Cards are real fun to collect.

I think that the Yu-Gi-Oh card game is better. First of all, There are more intricate strategies. In Yu-Gi-Oh, you can do more than one thing per turn as well.

It's easier to tell if YG cards are rare because from the show you know what they do. But since the new GX, 5Ds came out they cards got crappier.

To much math in the Yu Gi Oh cards for me, I like the simple stuff with the Pokemon cards. Been a long time since I played with cards irl but I do however quite like the Pokemon Trading Card game for GBC

I would say Magic the Gathering, but considering that isnt a choice I will say Yu-Gi-Oh, I played that alot and I loved it, I could never quite get into Pokemon in my youth

Its a hard choice for me...I like pokemon but...If you mean in a fight id say yu-gi-oh because... well... think about this: Red Eyed Black dragon v.s. pikachu. See where im goin?
