I like the.. first MMO version of it, was it 12? Yeah saw it in the store once and fell in love. Definately not falling.

In my opinion FF is not going strong nor falling because the game was improving their graphics yet the storyline become worst. I thhink its a so-so and the gamers has their opinion on ff12 so the thing is that they recognize the falling of ff series.

I've basically played every Final Fantasy game and beaten them, but truthfully, the newer one's are just losing the Final Fantasy Touch. I admit i liked FF12 in some way's, but it just didn't feel the same. Maybe it was just the new battle engine. I actually liked X to some agree and as for 9 i liked it better than 7, while 8 was okay but not the best. Seriously, in my opinion, the PS3 just doesn't seem like it's going to work, hence FF13 probably won't get played as much as the old ones. But i never did like the new look of the one coming out. FF13 just doesn't look to good to me, and if it's a shooter like Dirge, then their in for a world of hurt.

Definitely falling, no doubt about. If I stopped buying final fantasy games after FFX, there's something wrong with their way.

Ehhh, I haven't followed it very closely, but it's really weird the way it works, because they make high quality games still, but I don't see the following that the older games have. That could just be because they're older games and everyone loves oldies. XII got a warm reception so I don't know, maybe it's just because they're changing that people don't like new ones anymore?Overall I'd say they're sort of stagnating, not so much falling though.

It has fallen since FF-X2 and now because of the new FF7 in the PS2, they should just make it how FF should be, like other FFs.

I think its starting to get boring and its falling now... I hope it doesnt end but i want a decent new game or summink thats REALLY cool and challenging...

Well some of the more recent titles in FF have been rather dissapointing like X-2 and Xl but i think with Xll they regained some composure and Xlll looks like it's gonna be incredible so i think they're back on the rise.

I was turned off by X-2 but XI and XII were good again. The day there is a truly BAD final fantasy game is the day the world will implode.

Final Fantasy X-2 sucked hardcore...but otherwise the FF series will most likely be around for a long time...

Dang, some freakin haters on this one. I think it will eventually die out, but right now it's going strong. I don't get how anyone thinks its not when there are millions waiting for Versus already. (It does look like it'll be better than the last few though)

Honestly, I think that its slowing falling. Squenix is to caught up in making crazy convoluted storylines, and all the jazz. With XII, they brought the battle system to real time, which is cool, but I personally think they should go back to being turn-based. That's one of the big reasons that I don't play the games anymore. That and after X and X-2 they had the strictly online XI, which I wasn't gonna pay a monthly fee to play.

lol i kinda like the good old times when it was ff3 to 12 lol apart ffrom that no more ff for mei allways loved FF but after the X....man the X-2, the XI and now the XII(that i think it is not going to be that good) i just don't know what to say anymore....

They used to be quite famous but the newer doesn't seem to be very popular havent heard much about it since FFX.
