get a laptop as they are more versatile - you can take them anywhere and they are pretty fast nowadays.

You cannot upgrade your laptops, so you have to buy a new one but you can upgrade a normal computer so I think I will go with a normal computer.

I have two Laptops and two Computers, so I vote Home Computers are the best, because I can change them the way I want, I can fix them easily (Laptops require special technicians), and they are more powerful than Laptops. Plus, I don't have to bend over to see the screen LOL!

I'm gonna have to go for a desktop too...laptops are nifty though and I'm considering getting one for mobility.

I own one of each. I find the laptop is a lot easier to use, repair and upgrade myself, and that the gear for it is cheaper. Even balanced against the laptops mobility, I have to go with a desktop.

laptops are not cheaper!!! by comparision a laptop with less capabilities can go for more than a desktop with more capabilities.smaller = more expensive

If I could afford one I would so have a laptop. Just makes things smaller and compact.

I like both since they both have their uses. with a laptop I could play some Civ 4 whilst on a long road trip. I don' think I can do that with my PC
