i would rather have a desktop then a laptop just because of thefact bigger is better

I prefer desktops for technical reasons. They have higher audio and video capabilities than laptops. Laptops are more expensive than desktops.

Desktops cause they have more memory and they are upgradeable compared to laptops

I only have a laptop.. and its portable so i think i prefer laptop.

I personally prefer a desktop because laptops seem like they are going to slip our of your hands and break into a thousand pieces.

I like laptops better than desktops, because you get to carry them around with you.

Hehe home builts are the best 
buy the parts at auction and you can build whatever you want without it being too expensive. Home edition is so stupid it gets on my nerves. I would still use a desktop for playing games though laptops make your lap hot and it isn't as good

laptop because when i wake up on saturday i can watch tv and play games from my bed.

i have a desktop, and i've never really liked laptops. probably because the ones i use are usually really slow.

i have both, bt i prefer desktop simply coz it has better performance and its easier using a mouse rather than a touchpad

I've never needed a laptop for anything, so I vote for desktop PC's. Stuff a GeForce dual-GPU card into a laptop and then we'll talk.

We, also have both. When one of us is on the desktop, the other has the laptop. We like the laptop, because it is available wherever you go.

They both have their advantages. Personally I use my laptop more, as it is portable, and I can access the internet from any room in the house even outside by the pool.

i think that soon everything will be intergrated.. you will have something like a tablet pc that when you come home, you plug into its port and it shows up on your tv. browsing while you watch your favorite shows. fun!

id prefer a laptop but i hav a dell desktop pentium 4 2.8 ghz ht technology, 512 ram, xp media cetner, 15 inch flat screen

Got meself a desktop and a laptop and do tell you the truth the laptop is really heavy. I mean I've gotten used to the weight, but which part of it is convenient? It weighs, it's big and you have to watch out because you are afraid of breaking it.

i like both cause i mean witha laptop you can like move around alot and bring it everywhere but then i ilke desktops too. cause yeah they both have the goods in both of them

I would prefer a desktop.Don't fancy carrying an excess baggage around, and I enjoy the comfort of home.Besides, desktops can play better games.

I currently using a laptop, but I do own a reg. desktop... the only thing is my desktop comp is very very sloooow, and it has a bunch of problems... meh.
