i do like laptops for there convieniance, and portabilty, but i prefere desktop as u can can get so much m ore for the amount that u would spend on a laptop

Im just big on games so id get a computer cus laptops are not good for games, and if you dont need to bemoving all over the place and you need something just for stationary use, get a computer.

It all depends on what you want to do. If Your just going to use it home, a PC is much better, their cheaper and easier to use, aswell as usually more powerfull. If you want to go places, then obviously a laptop is better, because you can't really take a Desktop with you on the road

Computer...there are laptops that can play games, but a computer would be much faster.Laptop...convenience anywhere i choose to travel.

Computers, laptops get slow after awhile, also if you want to upgade something it's way more expensive.

it depends on the use you are going to give to the machine if is for school or work a laptop is the best choice and for the house a pc. in what has to do with the model DELL are cheap and barely decent and VAIO are expensive but nice.

I have a laptop for school and it is great for everything I do. IBM (Lenova nowadays) makes some really solid models, and I don't think I would ever buy another brand anymore.

I like the laptop for portability, but it seems limiting in many other situations.The desktop is great for playing around, upgrading, expanding, and tinkering.

I prefer a laptop because its portable and I can carry it wherever in my house. I'm also rather lazy so its good because I can lay down and still use the internet.

I don't mind, but a laptop is good for anything except music, emulation ( mostly probs with N64 emu ) and gaming.Computers are a good choice because they can do all of the above, all a laptop can do ( except be carried around 
) and can be extended with PCI cards.

I say a laptop is better than a computer, a laptop could have wireless internet and you could take it anywhere and use it.

Laptop or Computer?It's not that much of a choice, is it?Of course, majority would pick Laptop because of its convenience.I mean, who would want to carry a computer?..Then again, a computer has a limitless supply of electricity.
