LapTops are definately much cooler because you can take them anywhere.

laptops are better but then you have to recharge now and then (if you're carrying it around) and im really impatient

uh you recharge while u use it at home, you use the backup battery whereever you're traveling to... in the bus or trains or whatever... once u reach your destination find an outlet and plug it in again.... i use my laptop 80% more than my desktop

I prefer laptops. They are smaller and lighter. You can take it everywhere and store it everywhere. But of course, they are more expensive.

well it really depends what your life is...as in if your mobile then get a laptop, but if u dont need it everywhere you go. Then get a desktop.

Well I'm in the same situation... I mean, my dad said he'll buy me a laptop notebook or a pc, or bike... I want a laptop and I think thats what I'm going to get. If you don't mind a bit of difficulty typing for a bit once you first get it then get a laptop.... ^^

I have two computers and one laptop, but I don't preffer neither. I don't go out so this isn't a problem.To play games a computer is better. For documents and stuff where you need to be on the road the laptop is obviously better. But what's stopping me from voting for a tablet PC?For now I preffer normal computers, since I don't need a laptop. My vote is subject to change in the future. >>;

I like bothLaptops are more stylish and kool but computers are always more powerful unless you wanna get like a 4 pound laptop such as the Dell.But I choose Laptop

Laptops are rather small and, therefore, highly convenient; however, they are more expensive than computers and are more fragile.

I like Labtops in some instances, but I prefer my full size computer in end simply because of its expandability. Labtops usually have everything onboard so that it can be compacted into such a small computer which makes it virually impossible to upgrade (expect for the RAM) without replacing basically the entire unit. Desktop Computers though can have any part replaced/updated easily. Not to mention that if something breaks on a labtop, it can't be replaced easily either (especially the keyboard ).
