9/10very innovative at the time it came out. but the graphics were... well... bad. i was disappointed that there werent any voice-overs either.

I've played 1,2,4,6,8,9, and 10 and i liked them all but does 7 really stand out above the rest? Because I thought 8 was awesome and 10 rocked too.

I give a 10 out of 10. This is my favorite FF followed closely by FFT. It might be because that was the first game that I played on the PSX and the first FF game i played so i may be a bit bias.

Final fantasy 7 was a great game itself and the best part about it and just about all other FF games is the replay value you get from these games. I still play my FF7 game on my ps2. Its the best thing ever.The music is okay in it and the storyline is pretty good even though every other game has pretty much copied it over and over and over.I give it a 9/10. I'm sure there are some better games but I think this is the best FF game so far and after reading about FF XII i think it'll remain that way

IMO Final Fantasy 7 was the best it introduced the summons and the bad a$$ Sephiroth. Plus Barret was like the first black dude i've seen in an anime like video game. IT also had an intense plot which made me like it even more, when ares died i was pretty sad T_T but nonetheless i loved it. From chocobo racing to armwrestling to getting the Knights of the Round (Cheap i know but i just got it for collecting everything in the game).

oh man.... i juz wish they would make a remake wif betta graphics for dat game... i mean the graphics dun do the game justice... STORYLINE : 9.5/10 (-0.5 cuz aeris died... dammit!)GRAPHICS : 6/10 (meh...)BATTLE SYSTEM : 7/10 (mostly same as most FFs...)MUSIC : 9/10 (HELL YEA!!!)

FF7 was a pretty cool game. I'd give it a 8/10 myself. I just didn't like the fact materia system took away individuality of each character, they could all do the same stuff and thus were no big differences, that was my only peeve but in a way having everyone being able to do the same stuff doesn't make you hate any one character any more than others for lackin an ability.

hmm I didn't really like materia that much period, sure it was usefull but I just didn't like it loland the game had alot of hidden thing in it that I liked, it took me like 3 times playing through it to find them all and do them all, pretty fun game

Will you like, have my babies?And IMO, FFVII sucked. Horrible storyline, the materia system sucked although the music was pretty good. Final Fantasy Tactics owns FFVII in every department.the ff7 story line sucked. no i'm serious. name one time red xii had any chracter development outside of cosmo canyon. heck name any chracter development for any chracter other then cloud. life stream is unexplained and has no realy reason of being in the game. Materia sucked the fun of having jobs since everyone was basicly the same with minor differences and different limit breaks. most people only like it because of eitherA. it was thier first ffb. the grafxC. the hypeD. big swordsE. all of the aboveFF7 ROCKS BECAUSE IT HAVES A GOOD STORY LINE
