it's the best series, though in my opinion a couple of the games dropped the ball.

A good RPG is a good RPG regardless of the title. Some of the Final Fantasies were beautiful while others just stink. I also highly recommend Star Ocean series and Chrono Trigger and Cross

Final Fantasy VII, despite not being the first Final Fantasy I'd ever played, is my favorite within the Final Fantasy series.But I think my favorite RPG of all time is Suikoden II. It's just awesome, and the characters really draw you in.

Well, with this it's difficult to say. I enjoy Final Fantasy as much as the next person, but I think I played through Chrono Trigger the most, followed by Phantasy Star IV. Final Fantasy, generally after one time through, I've really lost interest.

FF7 was my first RPG game. I like it so much, so i think that it is the most popular game in whole serie. There are many events, sad or not(especially that with Sephiroth and Aeris), i`ve ended that game 5 time and still playing, because of mastering it to 100% of everything.

I actually like the dragon warrior series. It was before final fantasy and had some really interesting twists in it.

I remember Dragon Warrior. I played a couple of them, they're quite linear though.

I would have thought Final fantasy was the best rpg if you have asked me that a bout 3 months ago BUTi got ahold of a copy of star ocean: till the end of timethat game is awesome!!

Does final fantasy tactics count? I love that game. Except for the last battle of the first chapter. It's near impossible to beat without a character dying.

Final Fantasy is a great series (and one of the longest lasting franchises still going) But my personal favorite would have to be the Xenogears/Xenosaga series.

FF Series is fine but the only people who thinks its the best either truly love the series or only play it. I like the non-mainstream type games. Diablo LePlace. Home Sweet Home. Riviera.Its a great series but defiantly not the best.
