It rocks very much.I just love it especially the cut-scenes because Dante says and makes cool moves in them.And I love that awsome guitar of his.

The best thing about this game is switching between weapons mid-combo. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you couldnt switch weapons in the middle of combos in the other two. The best part about weapon switching is that once you master it, you can pretty much make infinite combos and bust out a strong finisher whenever you're ready. It makes killing trash monsters (non boss or mini-boss monster) very, very easy. Unfortunately...THIS GAME IS TOO HARD! Sure, you feel accomplished when you finally beat a boss, but I personally get fed up with getting my donkey whooped six seconds into the battle.

Well I pretyt much agree with what's been said here, the thing about the game being too hard is a shame though, most people just feel like they'll never beat a certain boss and therefore leave the game, which is a pity since the game's top-notch, all the goodies you unlock once you beat it (which adds to the replay value) and the crazy stuff you can do mixing weapons during combos, the enemies are also well done, the sand effect is a really nice detail. The story's deeper than in previous games (which had little to no story at all) *coughDMC2cough* and there's a cutscene every time before and after a mission, that's a real achievement. Since we're at it, whatdo you guys think about the Secial Version of the game that's coming out later? Vergil'll be playable and there's talk about new stuff being included also.(I do relaize the topic's been dead a couple of months, but it's the only one I could find that had a simple discussion about the game and not a XvsX topic, I apologize if there's already a thread about DMC3 SP version.)

Its ok. I still like DMC 1 the best. Classic gameplay and wasn't overly challenging.

A top-notch PS2 game, one of the best of all PS2 games. The difficulty (even on easy) making even that reaper a match for, is nice for a chang from all the EZ crap that has been comming out. love all the insane cobos you can create, the badass weapons, and that next to final boss fight when you can unleash the sons of sparta (that fight is the best in the game for me). This game and MGS3 are the the best games of all ps2.

very good game. fastest game play outta the 3 and it's awesome cause it's not too easy to play but once u get the hang of it u'll just run thru all the small things. plus i like the different styles that u can fight with. I personally like either trickster or swordmaster

hard as sin. i throughly enjoyed it to the max tho. i saw a special edition of dmc3 on gamespot and the vid showed vergil in action scenes (not cutscenes), but i think its gonna be jap exclusive.

Devil may cry 3 is one of the best PS2 games!And comparing it to the other DMC's,it's like:Devil may cry<Devil may cry 2<Devil may cry 3Devil may Cry 3 is bigger,faster,cooler,has more stuff and more combos...ONE WORD!A W E S O M E

Hi there,for me the hole DMC Series is very conflicting. Why? Because on the one Hand you've this cool and stylish Gameplay with one of the coolest Characters ever created. And on the other Hand the Game itself is sometimes boring due to its repetive Levels (i'm speaking of the lazy Capcom programmers who making a "light" and a "dark" World of the Levels).I mean you enjoy the first half of the Game but then it only suck because in the other half u just running around in the same levels as before only they have their colour changend (ok and some slight other modifications - that doesnt matter). Thats what i hate about many Capcom games.So long, Ray

I think Devil May Cry 3 was the best of the series, but that might be because Virgil is amazing. I was thoroughly dissapointed with Devil May Cry 2. It was overall pretty rubbish in terms of gameplay and storyline. I also loved the original. DMC 3 lacked the atmosphere of the original but I still loved it.

i htink that this game was a good game it had its alot of fun at parts and i have always like the devil may cry series its always been a good game the second wasnt all that great the third was fun but alot harder than the 2 before it so you choose if you like it or not

Personally I find it the hardest game on the market! I'm not saying it not good cause it is really good game! but hell how I'm I suppose to be able to play it when the first miniboss is hardert them all the final boss in all the game I played ( and I play lot of game )
