It's as good as the first DMC or maybe even better. Either way its 100 times better than the 2nd one.

I think its good Dante is much cooler in DMC3 the way he bash enemies theres no doubt. Regarding the storyline I prefer the first game

ITS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES ON PLAY STATION 2, I PLAY IT AND I AM ON LVL 12. THERE ARE 8 LVLS LEFT....T_TTHE GAME IS DIFICULT AND SHORT, THATS BAD

The game was quite hard, but not that hard. The only battle that really annoy me was the stage 19 battle with Arkhams, where u can't devil trigger and can't perform any of the style.....

i love the devil may cry games, i just bought the special edition and it was,t as good as i thought becouse u go to through the same missions and it skips missions and aslo ive noticed u dont really get new weapons, but the normal game itself is great. i do wish u could change amulet stones like devil may cry 2. all in all its a great game

Devil May Cry 1 and 3 are awesome. The story was somewhat more fleshed out in them. I also like the amazing last battle in Devil May Cry 1, and the diversity of the two weapons included in that game, as well as the feel and controls. The enemies were also somewhat difficult as they all had a different style of fighting.Devil May Cry 3 was good because of it's improvements on what DMC2 didn't do so well, and because Vergil was in it. The style systems allowed for a variety of playability in the game instead of the same thing over and over again. And the weapons were all tailored to different types of players. They could have done a bit more with the final stage though, I kinda felt a one on one with virgil was needed, but it still felt kinda short.Devil May Cry 2 wasn't bad, it just wasn't that great. Dante was much overpowered, the game was NOT ready for an Ice element to be added, and the difficulty and story were both lacking in that one. The weapon system wasn't completely realized (as all the weapons were pretty much the same thing), and many of the things they added (the different flight and the wall runnning mainly) weren't done to be much of an advantage or change to playing style cause they were mostly useless (especially the wall run).Devil May Cry 3 is definitely worth getting if you can though, I'd prefer it over the first because of the amount of playing you can get out of it, and if you get special edition you can get play as virgil and do the bloody palace.

i think devil may cry 3 is an awesome game. it is really hard at the beginning, but once you get the hang of how the enemys attack and you are able to survive, then the game becomes amazing
