Everyone says nintendo has only kiddy games and nothing for an older audience

but i beg to differ i really do not see fire emblem, link metroid and (rumour) new kid Icarus game being kiddy i feel with a new look most of these games have it made put a little more blood here and there and there you have it nintendo's own killing machines. P.S. I wouldn't mind seeing pokemon a little bloodier too, really want to see someone kick off pikachu's head!!! :angry:

Oh God, this topic says 'flame war' all over it. Nintendo's ''kiddiness'' isn't targeted. It just has a way of stealing the young, though intended for everyone.What do kids find so appealing about an Italian stereotype?

Nintendo does sorta have a kiddy feel to it but that dosent matter. A good game is a good game.

Nintendo just has more all age friendly games where as Xbox has more violent games which are mostly T and M rated.

Ya, its just cuz GC has a reputation as having 90% of all its games E rated. Xbox and PS2 almost all games about 90% as well are T or above.

actualy ps2 has alot of E rated games. Its just that the more well liked and more well know is T and M games. since it has such a wide veritiy it has alot of range.

The only real mature game for Gamecube made my Nintendo was Eternal Darkness. Most games are aimed at kids or youth on Nintendo systems.

Nintendo isnt kiddy at all.........most games seem kiddy but take RE 4..........definitely not for kids under the age of 12....... 1. because its too hard for them2. because it's gory and disturbing for little kids

yes re4 is a mature game but i kinda wish nintendo itself would put in a little more of their own bloody games i mean if i'm playing smash bros. and i hit my friend with my character i wouldn't mind seeing a little blood.

Hope so. Blood just adds more life to a game. I would love to see a little blood on SSB and a after a 5 mins fight or somthing while taking damage after a while you should look like you should be beat up. And if you have 999% the you should have blood al over your face, eyes, nose, ears, cut lip, missing teeth. THAT WOULD ROCK.

to bad nintendo wants to stay more of a family gaming system so dont expect to see tons of bloody gory games, i doubt there will be much more of em after they realesed re4, allot of the games on the gc are kiddy games, yet the difficulty on some of these games are stupid for a kid, some even hardcore gamers struggle with.

I really love nintendo games not exactly mario but link, metroid and pokemon are fun series. Link had adventure, metroid shooting and pokemon RPG all these games with a little bit more blood would do a lot of good.

Thing is, quite a lot of it is censored or going to be censored anyway.Take Megaman Zero. It had lots of blood, though why robots would bleed blood is another question altogether. (Blood was removed from NoA and I suppose a lot of killing references were turned to recycled, which in a way has its own sinister tone to it).I wonder whether Jack Thompson would jump on the bandwagon here.

That doesn't help the arguement. RE is made by Capcom not Nintendo. Ill say it again that the only Nintendo made game that is mature is Eternal Darkness.

that isn't entirly true.eternal darkness is a very good game. Metroid had a more adult/grown up or teen feel to it. and the new zelda looks amazing.and Nintendo and capcom did sort of... well make up... so without nintedo no RE4 or the RE remakes.however nintendo did start out aimed at what appeared a slightly younger audience.

ok shut your faces all up. nintendo games are mostly for little kids but fun for every damn person alive. if u dont like to play nintendo your mind isnt workign properly. zelda gaems are the best thing ever. metroid fun as heck shooting, mario platform games rules the day. pokemon is still cool even tho no enw games recently cool rpg styleish. and omg re is for adults supposely so no kiddy aboputt his games at all they all got voilence just not alot as in halo

I really don't believe nintendo is to be considered kiddy. Though I believe kids are more drawn to nintendo than the older audiences.
