I just got past the first level and im already bored. I had high hopes for this game.
Doesn't Drakengard get boring after a while?

I think if there are ally soldiers like DYnasty warriros....the game will be more intresting.

yes the game was very boring because every level is so big and there is not much to do except magic and combo.'boring'AND so many weapons to collect and train, thats even more boring!

hahaha i fell bored too when i pass level 2 ....... i think i'll pick dynasty warrior / samurai warrior / sengoku bassara ..... it's better than drankengard

The storyline is not good, and the game gets boring because the only thing you do is kill but the weapons are pretty cool.

ya even the aerial combat is boring, but oh well at least someone took a stab at getting a dragon into a dynasty warriors type game.

the story is horrible and very sickgigantic babies eating people some huge pregnant lady being the source of 'evil'this game really does suck thought the fighting isnt bad

This game does get boring pretty quicky, but I really like how the weapons got stronger and evolved like in Onimusha.

I bought for like $8 so I didn't really care that is wasn't that great. You should be able to get it pretty cheap if you wanna try it.

If you can pick it up cheap its kinda worth it, I got it for £5. Its kinda like Dynasty warriors but instead of having like 50 characters it had like 50 weapons instead, each weapon has its own story though.

i bought this game cheap and OMFG it is sooooo boring if someone told me which direction the enemies were in i could play it with my eyes closed it is just the same combo again and again!

Yeah true, you can just mash the attack button, and the magic works good too but makes it too easy. The magic effects look really cool though.They're releasing a sequel sometime soon, it supposedly has a good storyline, and better combat. Also, during missions you can visit towns to buy items. Hope the 2nd one would be better, a multiplayer story mode might be nice and hopefully they tweak a new system for the dragon riding thing not to forget gives more cool arsenal of weapons 
to smash the poor thugs all over . One thing that attracted me most is actually the trailer of this game ^^.Oh and I think IMHO it might also be good to put some onimusha 2 style of venturing the town instead of just a scene where u just talk to advance the story and nothing else.Anybody have any info abt the 2nd one ? I know they already prepare it but i dun know anything abt the gameplay or release date.

I know it's already out in Japan, and I heard somewhere it might be getting a Christmas release. I doubt they'll promote it much though.Here's the japanese box art: Box ArtAccording to Gamespy the release is set for December 6th.And if anyone actually cares about the story, it is a direct sequel taking place 18 years after the first.Here's some other info about it.

Hmmm, I played it and liked (a little). I even finished it. Of course, if you really have nothing better than do, its a blessing.To tell the truth, I was really happy playing this thing... cuz was free. A friend of mine has given me this for a while... he wasn't even in a rush to hav it back...SEE YA!!!

I agree its not the best storyline and it is very weird. And yes it does get boring but all games do, just some take longer than others <.<
