Its a good game,it goes all the way up to the FET set and has alot of the promos we dont have like Sixth Sense,Shrink,Dead Spirit Zoma,etc...It will be fun to use those cards we dont have.

Sixth Sense is such a broken card, I love it !Sixth SenseNormal TrapEffect: Announce two numbers between 1 and 6. Your opponent then rolls a die once. If the result is either of the two numbers that you announced, draw cards from your Deck equal to the number rolled. If the result is different from either of the two numbers you announced, discard cards from your Deck equal to the number rolled.

I got to play it today (a friend of my younger brother bought it, so I got a quick 2 duels in).The duel goes faster than in it's GBA counterparts. No more asking at EVERY SINGLE POINT 'do you want to activate this trap'. It will only ask you when a trap could possibly be activated, or at the end of the opponents turn (just so you can activate one if you need to). So the game runs faster. The 3d animations of the monsters do add to the game (Toon Alligator looks pretty cool) but some are just a bit too pixelly. Overall, it looked good. It's obviously a cheaper alternative too buying a whole heap of cards (especially since you can choose what cards you want in your deck, and not leave it up to the luck of the booster packs)

Troubador isn't bad. Still some bugs in it but not as bad as other games have been. It's actually cool to just touch cards and all instead of always having to use the buttons and control cross to play. If you're a yugioh fan and want something fun for your DS, get the game.

I've got the European Version of this game since the day it first came out, about 2 or 3 months ago. I've also bought the Japanese version of this game, when I was in Japan to participate in the WCT 2005 GBA World Championship.Nightmare Troubadour is a pretty cool game, best yu-gi-oh game so far, best graphics (although it gets pretty boring when your opponent keeps activating Scapegoat), about 1050 cards en cool puzzles.

If you like yu-gi-oh then you'll probably like this version as it plays a little better than the previous incarnations. If it's not your thing then you probably wont like this version either. I like the game but I'm not too impressed by the graphics as I cant read the card label and have to go into the info section all the time to check it. Other than that I like it :)

its ok, its pretty much standard yu gi oh game although you use the touch screen to control to attack and view cards etc... i did not like the duelist search though you have to use your touch screen to scroll randomly on a map till you find someone to duel.

Eh, it was okay. Lack of story, and simple area-to-area movement. I know it's all about the card battles but the presentation was bland like all the others. At least Wordwide Edition put you in the middle of a tournament so there is some semblance of story...still nominal. Nightmare Troubadour basically was you running around town with random battle/story arcs from the anime crammed in. The only saving grace would be the inclusion of new cards...which is offset but the exclusion of older ones.

I played every GBA game for YGO but never tried DS ones. I heard they are "so so", what's new in the DS system besides new cards?

If you like the trading card game then you'll love this game. It has a wide selection of cards that you can use to prepare your strategy. It's better than the GBA versions, cause the use of the stylus makes it more dynamic. And can use the Egyptian Gods :D .
