Meh. If they hassle you, then just try not to get caught. Don't hate them, too much for it though, this is probably just the generation gap talking. Fair enough, they probably want the best for you, in general, but I guess you have at least some wiggle room to cheat a few things.

yep mine are sort of, they dont care if i buy them but they go nuts if i play too much lolMine are each time i buy a game on the car ride home my dad gives me a lecture. And he doesnt let me spend all my money on games.

My dad is one of those guys that thinks gams are a waste of time... That was until he discovered the Wii. o.OMy mom however is interested in games but finds them too complicated for her...

it's funny because, my mom tells me that i need to play less games, however she plays computer solitaire like, 3-4 hours a day! how ironic ..

They dont bother with my gaming hobby, as long as its a positive game, they believe that it will help me train my brain.I also try not to spent to much time in gaming, dont want them to have bad impression of gaming is addicting.

Nope. My mom knows that games do not influence mine or my brother's behavior, so the only thing she cares about is the price tag.

Though im older their feelings are the same as when i was younger. They believe video games destroy minds and make kids violent. As far as violence goes, sports and tv are just as at fault. But destroy minds. I learned all about cars with games like forza and GranT. Also i could read well above the level of kids when i entered school do to games i played like zelda and chrono trigger at an early age and i had to read to get anywhere.

My parents are perfectly fine with me playing games... as long as I do not neglect my studies. They don't have a say in how I spend my money, so no problems there. My grandma actually likes watching me play. XDD

my parents really don't care.. my dad even used to play mario 3 and mario kart and my mom played pokemon stadium mini games with me and my siblings.
