My parents are. But as long as I pay for the games and get good grades, they don't really care.

my dad is a deadbeat, so he really doesn't care, but my mom thinks that if you play you'll spend you life in them. She says I'll be 56 still living with her if I play video games too much. (Harsh isn't it?)

My parents don't give a dam what I play. Even if they did I wouldn't care what they said. By law you have the freedom to do what you want, as long as it stays within law, so parents really CAN'T tell you what to play and what not to play. I told my parents this and that ended their raid on my loved Devil May Cry 3 disk.

My parents lock me in the basement if I play too many games. It's cold and dark, but I can ususally smuggle my DS in with me.

As a parent and a gamer, I actually encourage my children to play video games. Its a great learning experience with many benefits. Examples would be problem solving, coordination, thinking and critical thinking skills, and also many life skills that some people don't really see games as being able to teach. Many games involve the use of credits/money/currency in order to buy items within the game, real or in game only, it still teaching organization, bugeting, establishing priorities and basic responsibility and consiquence acceptance. sadly, not many games work on spelling or grammar! lol ;P

my parents hate the fact that i play video games, when i was 18 and still living with my dad, i was playing gta and he heard some of the foul language and he took it away from me, saying "its my house, my rules" this just aided my decision to move out lol (i was gonna move out for school anyway, but i figured moving a month early wouldnt hurt)

My parents don't really care, but if I do something wrong they'd usually blame it on games."Aiyah, you spent too much time playing games and now look what's happened! Study more next time, lah."
