i dont no y but games frm movies r usualy rubish, shrek, shark tale and finding nemo r xamples. apart frm spiderman i cant fink of any other gud movie games

they're only made to make more money off of an existing fanbase! they don't put that much effort into the movies

Hack developers, and no need to make a really good game in order to sell. Plus a rush to get the game done by a deadline.Games like GoldenEye really are the exception, and it's still kinda amazing that they managed to get all that time to work on it, even past the film's release.

Thats a good question.......i think that they are so concerned about the movie, they have no time to make a good game.......some movie games were good though.

i agree that the most movie based games are rubish but where i live movies take a long time to be relesed so the games ends up coming first so a lot of he time the games comes out befor the movie well here anyway

ditto... they are usually just cash cows. people see the movie, they want to play the game.to bad with the charlie and the chocolate factory game too, the look and style looks really nice, but it was a crap to play.they're only made to make more money off of an existing fanbase! they don't put that much effort into the movies

pretty much every game that are made for movies suckthey have sucky graphics and the game will take u 2 hours to beateven with the extras

Move games are only made so the developer can make money off it. And thanks to fan boys a lot of movie games sell a lot.

Since they're mainly concentrating on it being like the moveie and people buying it because of the movie they don't concentrate as much on the actual game as much as it should have those favorite characters

Maybe they only suck because we played the game and compaired to a game a movie has almost no interactivity (aside from yelling "DONT GO IN THERE") plus there's actors to play all our favourite characters with voices that arent our own when we're reading the text. Maybe they wouldn't seem nearly as bad if we didn't know anything about the game and they were just actual movies.

As previously stated it is all about the cash. The developers don't spend a lot of time making a quality game because they don't have to. The essential problem is people still buy the crap they put out because they loved the movie and want to play a game on it. It all goes down to what people buy. A lot of casual gamers buy the crap that comes out which means more crap gets developed than quality games. So the people that buy the games are really the ones at fault. If they made it more difficult to part them from their cash then games and all forms of entertainment would be better.

I think video games should be made into movies instead. The story-lines for lots of games like FFX, Kingdom Hearts, no actually, that might be kindof gay, but some other ones would be really cool. Games from movies all suck, because they are doing it in reverse.

Maybe because they know that the fans of the games possibly watch the movie instead of that. Another reason is that the movie is focused to more general public that gmers only.

The answer is simple, most of the money goes into the license and not into the actual production of the game. That and developers have to usually scramble and complete the game by the time the movie comes out so most games are usually rushed. Then again, there are some games that happen to break the mold.
