This has probably been asked before, but my brother and I still own a Sega DreamCast--which, during its seemingly brief moment, was pretty popular. However, I can't seem to shake the idea that the only good games for it were the ones from the Sonic Adventure series (even though I have heard of a couple other games that we missed out on for some odd reason).I was wondering if there were any RPGs that are worth searching for. (I've heard of one called... Guardia II(?) and that's about it.) We haven't used the DC in years, but the way my brother keeps it I'm pretty sure it still works perfectly, and it kind of sucks that it's in storage (even if it wasn't my favorite-est console in the world). On a side note, I don't recommend Wyvern: Cult of the Wyrm to anyone who still uses a DC from time to time; I bought that on a whim and found it was kind of...blah. :)

skies of arcadia is nice... the GC version has more and less content, actually. it has some side quests added and it has some taken out due to the lack of the VMU.

Methinks PSO (phantasy star online)v.2 is a good one! It's... fun.........so.... yeaa.........oh, and this might not be an RPG, but Crazy Taxi is really fun, especially if you have the driving wheel. =D

The only thing missing is Pinta's sidequest, and the bounty battles/Moonfish quest are much better

Thanks, guys. <_< *makes a note of all those games* Keep on coming with any possible games. (I suppose it was a bad idea limiting them to just RPG's, but since I'm an RPG kind of girl...)Finding them should be kind of a double-edged sword, methinks. On the one hand, I could probably find them for a good price (like if I check the flea market near town; they always have "old" consoles and games for sale) but they'll also probably be hard to find, since everyone's so focused on the newer stuff.

RPGs...Grandia 2Skies Of ArcadiaRecord Of The Lodoss WarTimeStalkerSilverDragonriders Of PernEvolution one and twoSeventh Cross EvolutionElemental Gimic GearShenmue one and twoThat's all I own, and I THINK all that there are in English. I'm probably wrong, though. As for avaliability, depending on where you live they're easy to find. Most Gamestops and EB Games still buy them, so you can get them used from there. If you live in the LA area, there's a place called GameDude that carries a pile of games from every console ever made, and their prices are reasonable.EDIT: Found their website, which has, effectively, a catalogue of their games, although I don't know about how recent it is.http://gamedude.com/

Hey, yeah, that's right! The original Soul Calibur came out on the DC (would've been cool if they brought it over to the Cube or any other console...).

shenmue was the best ever dreamcast game. i still think it is the best ever game. it was a pity that it ended only at shenmue 2.failing that, try skies of arcadia. that was an amazing rpg.

So, most of english speaking dreamcast RPG were quoted, but let's dig em outGrandia 2: pretty good gameClassic RPG+: the difficulty is balanced +Charismatic and rude characters++impressive special attacks+More secrets than it seems to have--One of the looooooooooongest intro-prologue scene ever-Generation of ennemies-Not enough characters-Linear, directive, even boringSkies of ARcadiaThe Arcade RPG+Dynamic, cool plot and lots of action+A variety of actions like ship battles, puzzles, fishing, and kind of quick time events+Long play (+50 hrs)++Every character is properly unic-Fights are boring as hell and not well organized-AikaChracters are moving and speaking like Virtua Fighters, which is just terrible (hahaha, i m the best!)-Idiotic fights, they suck even more than the FFX fightsElemental Gimmick GearThe Hidden Gem++Wonderfull hand drawn colors, graphically perfect+Really hard fights, with looots of evolutions+Perfect for dungeon RPG lovers+/- Average for action rpg lovers+You grow a Ducking robot!!!!-3D fight scenes are just horrible--Really short-Puzzles in mazes are really really vicious and hard to readEvolution 1 and 2The sidekick+Dungeon RPG+Item Based Evolutions with addicting quests+Uses most of the console's guts+Love it lor leave it-Dungeon RPG-way too classic-Plain Boring-blahblahblahblahRecords of Lodoss WarSolo diablo++Hard as hell when being to curious (i love being punish)+hundreds of zombies slaughtered in one slice+Complete equipments with infinite evolutions++Sidequests are part of the game and can be done at any moment-Not enought magics-Only one player-Slows down oftenly---------CLING CLING CLING CLING CLINGPhantasy Star online+A really deep and pôwerful MMORPG+++Also nice in solo, which is rare for MMO's+Addictive addictive addictive+Futuristic RPG are rare-I hate Science fiction--It's a mmorpg whitch you have no chance to play online-Not enought CAC options-NO differences between V1 and V2TimeStalkers+Sequel To landstalkers and darkstalkers+Moster raising is great+beautifull and weird NPC++Interesting mix of T-RPG and D-RPG-Failed mix of T rpg and D rpg-Inferior to darkstalkers and landstalkers--Boring most of time-Why the hell do we lose xp when leaving a dungeon?????
