Red was a really good game but firered came out better with better scenery (due to better technology) and there is a lot more to do.

the first game was pokemon red and i think that it is the most original game out of the other pokemons because in all of the other pokemons they basically copy the pokemon from red and change them a bit and make a new name for them. so i think pokemon red is the best

Red was my first game and I loved it. I remember I used to spend hours on my GameBoy when I was little. I wasted my first pack of batteries in one day.

I really like both Red and Firered (obviously Firered more) because the pokemon are and always will be the classics. Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle !!! WOOOO!

My first game was Pokemon game was Blue version, but my brother had Red and we would trade sometimes with the link cable. Now we are much more advance with the Nintendo Wi-Fi system and can trade without having to be near the other person.

Red was my first Pokemon game. Everyone I knew had blue, so I got red... Loved every minute of it. I still have my level 100 team in it....

My brother and I got our pokemon Red and Blue games on the same day... I finished mine first, seeing as he was 7 years old at the time and I was 14Then, when Fire Red and Leaf Green came out, we each got our respective copy of the updates to our original Pokemon adventures... and again, I finished mine first, lol

I like red and blue. For one thing, it was the ONLY ones to be able to get mew without the help of an outside source. All the others, they are cool, but Red and Blue were the big cheese back then. and besides that, They have my favorite pokemon of all time... Vulpix and Ninetales!!! ^_^V

red, wasnt too much complications, you didnt even need to go to one of the convention things to get the legendary (mew) simply use a glitch, so much is always left undone in fire red

You had to have help from an outside source for Red and Blue. Either an Gameshark that let you get into the grass in Pallet Town where you catch nothing but Mews, or just use a code to have Mew himself. Or go to one of those Pokemon things and trade for one.Yeah, Blue was the best for me. I never had red, I've played it. I could make a Flying Kangaskhan on Blue. >.> Using a glitch of course.

No duh! It is a freaking Original Game Boy Game, They've been around since 1992. Back then, there was no such thing as a Super Nintendo. >_<!!>.> Don't post in something if you don't like it.the graphics they suck

pokemon red is still cool i remanber i got it on my bithday and i still play it but new is after geting all the pokemon pro.oka gives it to you in the first time it worked for me.
