Such a true statement. Although, there are certain ones that I didn't like, but that was either due to the control scheme of the game or the storyline. I'm a big stickler for storyline, having been brought up on the FF and DQ/DW series.GBA games are all great

Golden sun, even if i couldt beat the final bossPoekmon counts were you catch poekon and LVL them. A key point in RPG.

Definitely the Golden Sun series, such a shame they never made a third one.... 
oh well. The Super robot wars series, fire emblem and advance wars series are serious contenders for best as well. ( though SRWOG might veer a little bit more toward adventure than RPG, not sure)

Its definitely between Pokemon and Fire Emblem for the best....I'd have to take the original Pokemon (Red/Blue) as my favorite.
