i prefer warriors- theyre just strong, paladins-good all around, or dark mage guys-strong magic, and later they can heal too

Lol... characters characters... so many to choose from... ok....Lyn, Hector, Ephraim, Eirika & Ike- The best lords in the current FE games(I'm not going anywhere below the Blazing Sword) Roy with Sealed Sword was so-so... and Eliwood with Durandal... just too much speed loss... Raven- the calm and cool mercenary(except when talking 'bout House Ostia)... in most people's opinion anyways...Florina- the meek Pegasus Knight... dunno why but it happened when I first saw her... hehehe...Rath- the silent protagonist type nomad... he's just... cool...Marisa- The female myrmidon of FE:SS... quite the combo... beautiful AND lethal... lolAmelia- The young Recruit; she became the best general on par with Gilliam! though I still use her more than him hahaha...Rebecca & Neimi- the archers of the FE GBA series; I am an archer person so these two are always in my teams... hehehe... Nino- the gentle and true mage; She has a cuteness that always makes me pick her...(damn that Jaffar hahaha...)Jaffar- the "Angel of Death"; he has always looked cool to me... dunno why...; these assassins are the true beasts in the game... with maxed out speed and skill... power will rarely matter for they will obliterate many with their silencer/avoiding skills... just add a killer sword for insurance matters... lolSofia- the human/dragon shaman; she also appealed to me with her cute look... then it turns out she was my boss killer... hahaha... Apocalypse!there are more but this will do...

I haven't played all the versions or one of the 2 i have long enough (and the gamecube one u can't change classes!!) so i wouldn't know a lot, but the sniper (awesome archer) kicks butt!

Those aren't characters, they're classes. My favourite class was the Berserker. My favourite character however was Matthew from FE7.

Cormag as a Wyvern Lord for me, Once I equipped him with the item making him defensive against arrows, i could send him anywhere and have him destroy everything.

My favorite character throughout all of the Fire Emblem series would have to be Mathiew the spy. If you give him three Angelic Robes, a Killing Edge, and a Contract, then he is practically invincible.

Definitely going with the shamans and druids on this one. Dark magic is so badass. The only downside is that once they've upgraded to the druid, they're not so cool looking. It'd be nice if in the future they made another path you could take called the Necromancer where the character gains bone armor, maybe sword or dagger skills, as well as the good old dark magic. That would make my day.
