definitely would say its worth it. i think the graphics are superb for my taste, and i really like the line of games that came out, not to mention the wi-fi capable ones. i would like to see what nintendo will do with this handheld in the future. to me, this is something worth buying

Really worth it - awesome unique games & a better way to play GBA games. You just got two of the crappiest games for the system. ._.;; I'd rather eat the carts than subject myself to playing those.

i saw the ds when it debuted at e3 and i believe my exact words were, "sony is screwed." however, now that i have it, it seems a lot less powerful that it could have been. however, compared to the psp, there's no contest. psp may be pretty, but some of the games on the ds are just spectacular. i don't regret chosing it over psp for a second

Well, in the beginning, meaning when it first came out, I think it was not really worth it. After some of the good games came out like Mario Parthners in Time and Castlevania came out, then it was worth it.

Personally I think it depends on what you like...if it has games you like then it's worth it, if not then it sucks :(; The main reason I got one is so I could play Animal Crossing WW but I also have Mario Kart and Nintendogs and plan to get Resident Evil DS...so to me it's worth it :(

I'm waiting for the new Pokemon and Harvest Moon games. That'll definately make the DS worth it. I think Animal Crossing and SM64 already have though.

I prefer PSP. Nitendo DS has some good games for it, but other than that, there doesn't seem to be anything good about it.

Aw man, the DS is so worth it. There are so many good DS games I can't even afford them all. And there are more coming out! It's just plain sexy.

I dont even know if it is or is not worth it, thr DS seemed and still does seem like an evasive manuvour to the PSP. A good concept, but the timing was and is VERY OFF!!

for me i think it is worth it. theres Advance Wars, Mario Kart DS, Meteos, Pheonix Wright plus the entire GBA lineup. not to mention a brand new mario platformer coming out so i say its worth it.

Absolutely Not, nintendo DS was a utter dissapointment, it was completely overthrown by the infamous PSP

I thought about it, but i decided i'd either wait for prices to drop, or not get one at all.

I have never regretted buying a DS, and never will. The PSP started out with everything at once (movies, music, pictures)The DS takes it one step at a time (Wi-Fi, Opera Internet, TV) and probably more to come, so more and more sales will come and even more people won't regret buying a DS.The games are sweeeet too.
