i think the ds is a good buy...not many handhelds have touchscreens..the touchscreens add a lot of potential. about the dsi having camera and can play music, for me, those are quite unneccessary that can drain battery power quite fast....power that can be used for what the ds does best: play ds games. :)

I would say yes as there is an extensive list of games to purchase and some good deals out there. The PSP is a different type of handheld as it can play movies. I think there is room for both but I have no complaints with my purchase of the DS Lite. I believe there is a new DS coming out with Wi-Fi included and slightly thinner. Not sure on the cost though.

I work at a toys r us and i dont really think the amount of game titles is really gonna be a problem. Ds is the biggest section we have and alot of times i'll find games in another store that wont be at mine.

The DS is worth the money. DS games are more original than PSP games and there are a ton of games that you can choose from.

I think its worth buying because of the touch screen. However, lack of games to lengthen attention span.

well the PSP is like the only other handheld out there, and in my opinion the PSP sucks.the DS is the way to go, i want to be able to use the touch screen more though! its sexy <3its a very good system, definately worth the money. love the wireless play and free wifi setup, etc.

I think that the ds is worth getting because you can get it on salfe for 110 and then just get a r4 (or any of those things that you can add games to) and you will spend about 150 and the thing is that you can carry it anywhere so it's really convenient. You just have to buy a lot of extra in order to protect your ds such as screen protectors and a case for the ds. But if you are to chose between nintendo ds or other handhelds or (psp?) or something like that, your better off with other because the other one has cheaper games and you can get the handheld for a cheap price like on ebay.
