Its not worth owning if you are over 15. Then you should buy a PSP.

I'd rather buy a PSP, better graphics. And also for the PSP there are a lot of games to load.GreezRollo

I just recently upgraded from a gba to a ds and i think it was worth it. It is definitely worthwhile if you get the gamestop deal with trading in your gba. I have enjoyed many of the games and really like having a handheld in addition to a console.

I would get a DS, there is such a wide range of games you are sure to find something. Sure you get better graphics with the PSP but when I want a shooter I won't be playing it on a handheld.

Yes. The DS has a giant collection of video games (though more than half of them are trash games like pony racing or something...). For the most part it has some really good ones. Castlevanias, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy's, visual novels, etc...

I say it would be a good idea to upgrade to it if you plan on sticking to it. It has many good games from Pokemon to Super Mario Bros. As you also know you can connect with a wire and it is a good reminder using the schedule in the home menu

I think it's worth it! I recently got a DS and I contemplated over it for many many months and finally just got one! I LOVE it... There are so many games... And it's a lot cheaper than the PSP... The screen doesn't get scratched due to it design... It's touch screen... and the prices HAVE gone down... I'm not usually a video game player but I love my DS now! And they're coming out with so many more games!!!!

I would way, YES.completely and with confidence.I know PSP may have better graphics, bigger screen, easier to sufr the net.but the touch screen beats it all.it's so fun.it would be better if it could be hold with one hand (?!), but I would never regret it.

Heck yeah. It has tons of games, not to mention backwards compatible with the GBA games. Plus you can play ROMS with a Flash Card.-Here is a list of good games--Sonic Choronicles: Dark brotherhood-Sim City DS( B) Cheap$$$$)-Super Mario 64 DS-Myst ( the pc game) <When I played a emulation of it though, it seemed the controls were akward>-Splintter Cell Chaos Theory-Sonic Rush( B) Cheap$$$$)-Wario Ware: Touched-Trauma Center: Second Option-Sid Miers :Civlization Revolution-And Many MorePS: Be careful when you buy cheap games. There can be some stupid ones. Also, try looking at Gamestop and on Ebay for used games and also look for DS'son there.Plus, to get new games when you don't have that much money, go to Gametz.com. There you can buy, sell, and trade books, game, systems, movies ,and more.Vivo

yes it is totally worth buying a DS for many reasons like a lot of games GBA games are compatible WITH saves (unlike playstation), some old games that survived the test of time (are old, but good) are being re-made and nintendo's games last a long time.

I think the ds is the one for me. any of the others like the psp are over rated. the ds is nice and simple and there's loads of games for it. Yeah the games are expensive but the price is sure come down once the next generation of handhelds are released. Plus owning a ds allows me to have some serious gaming fun with my nephew who's 6 and can thrash me on super monkey ball. My next thing will be to take him on a quest in my final fantasy game. Hopefully he'll enjoy it.
