I would say that it'll be worth it. The touch screen makes it funnier(and more annoying sometimes). The psp might be good too, but it's way more expensive, and it wont probably get as many unique titles as the ds. If you are going to buy it because of games, it's definetly worth it.

I like anime/manga so JUMP super stars sold the DS to me and if you need help IGN.com has a free guide there are more games that are coming out. AC and Mario Kart are also great reasons to have a DS.

If u already have a GBA then i recommend u get a DS. For one, you can play all your old GBA games on the DS. Not to mention that the touch screen of DS is one of its kind.. really good buy...

The funny thing for me now is, I just bought a new GBA Advance SP bundled with Donkey Kong Country 3 and a pouch. All without having to know that DS is backward compatible. Sure I bought a flash card to save money on new tapes. But I just missed out 2 infos on DS.1) DS price dropped2) DS can play gameboy advance gamesOhhhhh there's regret for me, but I am still satisfied wth my gba sp in a way. Now... have to start saving for more money....DS surely useful for games, and worth the games alone. I don't see any cool games so far for the PSP, it has potential, but it's just screwed with boring straight-from-port type of game, not to mention un-fun ones.

Of course the DS is worth buying! Far better than the PSP to say the least.

the DS is very much worth buying just for the ability to play GBA games, plus the new DS games are pretty good, there aren't a whole lot out i only own 7 but there are quite a few games i'm looking very much forward too... FF3

DS is so worth it. the dual screen option is a blast and nintendo hit the nail on the head with the DS technology.

I would say that the DS is worth it, it easily replaced gba and i really like that its rechargable and the touch screen too.

It's very much worth it. Especially since the games for it cost about the same amount as GBA games and they potentially have a lot more content.

I was thinking about upgrading to a Nintendo DS, and I was just wondering if it would be worth purchasing, like the game list. Is it extensive enough at the moment to truly be worth the while?

id say buy 1 if u can as it is cheaper then the PSP but the games are just as fun and some of the games such as Nintendogs are similar graphics

I got mine like right after it came out, and I only got 2 games for it, Madden 2005 and Star Wars Episode III. No games out there really interest me. I mean Nintendogs? What just the name doesnt sound too thrilling. A game where you get to take care of dogs, oh how fun. Mario still a great classic but how much can you do with Mario? Now when they make a Zelda for it then itll be worth it in my opinion.
