Anyone remember that old playstation RPG, Legend of Dragoon? It got like no hype, but turned out to be one of the greatest RPGs ever. And, sorry you Final Fantasy fan boys, but it was better than Final Fantasy. If you do remember it, who was your favorite character, what was your favorite scene, etc. I guess I will start.Favorite Character: Kanzas/HaschelReason: First off, just to clear things up, Haschel and Kanzas are both Violet/Thunder Dragoons. Kanzas was the first and fought in the war against the winglies and Haschel was the one who took the stone after defeating Albert's uncle. They had the best looking armor, the best looking techniques, and they were pretty quiet. They were the smart ones that only talked when they had something important to say.Favorite Scene: When they are doing the flashback to when Dart's dad dies.Reason: It was just that damn cool to see all the original Dragoons gathered around.Yep, that was all.*waits for the flames from angry Final Fantasy VII fans who can't get over the fact that their game was overrated and overhyped.

Yea man i do remember that game, it was way dope. But it never got any credit for it because like it got over looked.my Favorite character is by all time ROSE, and ALBERTThe reason behind it, is that like Rose and albert are veristle characters, they can do as much damage as dart if you give them the right additions and right gear. Also i just think that there cool ROSE is clam and collective...and albert is always level headed.hahah sorry man i really dun have a favorite flash back..its been so long since i played that game.

I agree with you there. It didn't seem to be as mainstream at first like say Final Fantasy VII. I only cam across it by pur accident.Anyhow, I like this game quite a bit too. It's best point would be the graphics and sound. Certainly top notch for the PSX. The problem with this game is the battle system. It was a nice idea, but could use improvment. Pretty much unless you complete your additions successfully each and every time, you'll do next to no damage. Why is it that you only inflict like 24 damage if you're one button away from a perfect addtion, but then that'd jump to lik 120 should the addition work? That lead to some very frustrating battles if you don't have save states. Plus the sneaky press circle to prevent counterattack idea happened to quickly for your mind to register that you needed to press an alternate button. That was LOD's major fall and the reason certain people on Gamefaqs rated it relatively low. That and the fact that there's way too much backtracking and that the overworld was designed in a way that you just couldn't skip to point D without going through A,B, and C first. That meant you had to go waste time beating up all the old enemies over and over again. Stardust hunting made this several times worse. If it weren't for that, it'd definately be a top notch game.

Wow, my first flame from a Final Fantasy fan boy. Not performed properly, but whatever. First, Final Fantasy VII was overrated and overhyped. Second, is it really nessecary to insult someone based on a video game? No, it isn't.

I remember that game very well, It was the first RPG I played and it was awesome. My favorite character was Albert, his additions were crazy and he was always my best attacker. The story was awesome and the battle system I thought was flawless. I will never forget such a great game.

Itīs a unique game, the reason is that you have to play and donīt wait a meter for make an action...I like this game. The coolest character was Rose and Meru... I like his voices...Mention to Albert... can you make his fourth addition "Gust of Wind Dance"??I whish to play with the old dragoons... maybe Legend of Dragoon II... dream is easy...

You Mean you used "Ultimate Wargod". It's not just difficult for you though. The game's biggest flaw is the amount of difficulty in completing additions. I would just reccomend to everyone to use a gameshark to put Ultimate Wargods on every character. Then you're all set to go and this game will be a lot more fun (Trust me). It'll still be challenging enough too. Certain bosses are just INSANELY HARD since they get like 3 attacks to every one of yours that do MASSIVE damage. The ability to turn into dragoons doesn't help either because of the crippling fact that you CAN'T HEAL WITHOUT SHANA! (or at least keeping at least one character in human form).
