This opinion makes me sad. I know you have all the right in the world to think this but I believe most people don't like it nowadays because of it's graphics. Yea, ok, the graphics weren't really anything good to look at usually but graphics isn't everything. The battle was crazy and I loved it. I couldn't understand why some people would but it down but it's just something to get used to. I got so used to it that when I played that light game at arcades (where you had to hit the button when the light was in front of you) that I won every time and got about 10k in tickets...then they kicked me out. But what I think makes this game stand out the most is the story. That's one thing that I'm glad about the most it that I don't hear many complaints about the story. I have heard a few but they are far and few between. And I hope even you see why. This game was definitely quality rather than some of the RPGs are of today where they are just flashy graphics and not much more.I'll have to disagree. This has got to be one of square's shittiest works. The graphics were terrible. The battle mode was ok, but not that great. It really could've been done better.

compared to square's prior work of final fantasy 6 (ff 3 us on snes), legend of dragoon is a poor piece of work.the graphics on ff 6 weren't 3d models but they were far better for the eyes. the storyline was far better as well as the character development. This opinion makes me sad. Yes it can be for four reasons.1. If you're using an emulator a sudden skip in frames could throw your timing off causing you to miss the next button press (this was highly annoying and common for me).2. Some additions are just plain hard to do no matter what (e.g. Blossom Storm which has TONS of presses at precise times)3. Those enemy counter attacks are just plainly too CHEAP. The square turns red suddenly and by the time your brain even has a chance to register it, you've already pressed the wrong button (not so bad with earilier additions like Volcano, but again, ANNOYING for already hard to perform ones).4. You NEED to complete the additions to even do a decent amount of damage (4/5 correct presses might do like 14 damage while 5/5 suddenly does 64) and to raise your additions level (to get additional moves). Is it really that hard completing additions? well it is at the first time, buat once you got used to it, your finger will do the work by it self...

my favorite character was shana/miranda. mostly because they were the strongest characters. i know physically they were pretty much crap. but the farther the game progressed and the more levels they gained, the better they became. in the end i was able to summon their dragon to do massive life and heal my characters. plus without these characters, the story wouldnt be very interesting.Anyone remember that old playstation RPG, Legend of Dragoon? It got like no hype, but turned out to be one of the greatest RPGs ever. And, sorry you Final Fantasy fan boys, but it was better than Final Fantasy. If you do remember it, who was your favorite character, what was your favorite scene, etc. I guess I will start.Favorite Character: Kanzas/HaschelReason: First off, just to clear things up, Haschel and Kanzas are both Violet/Thunder Dragoons. Kanzas was the first and fought in the war against the winglies and Haschel was the one who took the stone after defeating Albert's uncle. They had the best looking armor, the best looking techniques, and they were pretty quiet. They were the smart ones that only talked when they had something important to say.Favorite Scene: When they are doing the flashback to when Dart's dad dies.Reason: It was just that damn cool to see all the original Dragoons gathered around.Yep, that was all.*waits for the flames from angry Final Fantasy VII fans who can't get over the fact that their game was overrated and overhyped.

I play this game using the real console so i don't have the 1st problem... ^o^2nd yup some addition are real hard.... and 3rd... don't think! use your reflect!... it's just the same as the rice planting game in Legaia 2... it's hard at first, but as you practise it, your finger will do the work while your brain think about something else.... ^o^it's all about practise....Yes it can be for four reasons.1.
