'Cause it feels weird and it's just a replay of TV games, you can't do the things in sports games then the things you can do in real sports.

In the beginning, they are fun for a couple weeks or months... then they start getting repetitive and that gets annoying so pretty soon, people just quit playing em. That's what happens with nearly all sport games, except if your a sport addict and can't get enough sports >.>

To me, most sports games are too formulatic, too dull and repetitive(every game is repetitive, you could say, but there's a limit...), usually lacking in style and sound. And then they're rehashed every year so the masses can buy the same game...for the fifth time, with barely updated graphics and some new teams or some crap.Of course, I do like some sports games. Mega Man Soccer, Mario Tennis, Albatross18/Pangya, and some others.

i like some but its not as fun when ur playin on a game then in real lifeim curious, personaly i love sports games... mario golf, madden, nhl, nba live, theyre all great, but people r always saying how they hate sports games.

other reason that sport make u tiredi dont not like sports games... i love basketball games... and i actually like hocky video games... but i dont like hocky at all

I like some of the sports games, but i also think i also think that sporting is something u don't do sitting in front of a computer or with a console.

It depends on which sports games, I personally like racing games, golf and tennis game. As for others like Ski, basketball, fishing, soccer....and many other sports games, I can say I don't like them at all. Actually sports wasn't my main fav genre. I prefer RPG/Strategy instead.

I'm just so not interested in sports generally . . . so the games don't appeal to me at all. My husband likes some wrestling games, but I detest them because the music so danged awful.

Heh, that's pretty much why I don't play them either. I'm horrible at sports games, mainly because I don't have an interest in simulating and activity I could just go outside and do.For me the reason i dislike them is simply because i suck at them. Nuff said

I hate them because while the arts and history department at my school have to take bi anual trips the sports teams get special attention and get to go on a trip when ever the hell they want.
