there r a lot of strategy games... u got war ones, historical ones, bussiness ones, simulation ones, developin ones, life ones, city building ones, etcwich ones do u like? and tell me which is your favorite type. personally i love business type games, like tycoon series ^^

I'd have to say historical and war dominate my strategic wants. Something like Hearts of Iron and Hearts of Iron II.

i would have to say for me it would be the real time strategy like starcraft thought i have been know to play civ3 for hours at a time and that isant realtime

all of them are the best i love strategy games but the best game for strategy i would say is a board game called SHOGI (japanese chess)it is the best i play it everyday and i still have alot to learn and i am trying to figure a way to get my opponent in checkmate with the board only saying BAKA [of course placed in japanese] (IDIOT){pieces are aligned}but for the comp i would say it is age of empires 3 cant wait cant wait cant wait.DF

Command and Conquer Generals and most command and conquer style games. I don't like the ones that go throught the ages because the units become very generic and there isn't much choice for units. Rome Total War is also pretty cool because it gives you a diverse range of units that you use. I also like Homeworld 2 for its complexity.

This is a forum for PC games. Generals is a great game. Other good games are Homeworld 2 and Warcraft III those are pretty good RTS games. Have you heard of any more RTS games in the works though?
