I like turn based, they give you time to think about your move and any repurcussions if you make it

My favorite strategy games are the C&C series... I also like to try a new Sims game once in a while, although those get boring once I've decorated everyones houses and made have gay sex with each other :)

For me, I think By far the best is Microsoft's "Age of" Series. Like it or not, when mircorosft wants to, it creates an amazing game.When you look at them too, they're not necessarily that graphically amazing, but they are great to play. With the latest Age of, they actually required each of the developers to put in an hour a day playing the game to make sure that it was consistently fun to play. I heard that they ended up scrapping like 3/4 of the code due to peopel not liking the way a particular section played. Part of the reason why I think that it belongs in the Strategy section is that it does require significant gameplay and time to set up a proper attack / defense. With the introduction of the Home City in AOE3, this really became apparent.

there r a lot of strategy games... u got war ones, historical ones, bussiness ones, simulation ones, developin ones, life ones, city building ones, etcwich ones do u like? personally i love business type games, like tycoon series ^^

i like the sims games all of them building living w/e they are all very enjoyable

Definitely war-based strategy games like Medieval: Total War. They're just so enjoyable.

i enjoy the war ones because i find them more exciting especially the epic battles. But i also enjoy the building side of them games.
