I've been aching for a good RPG/Adventure style game for XBOX, but any time I go to rent one I come back with a racing/shooter/something else. Something akin to Morrowind or Fable. Anyone know of any good ones they'd recommend? Doesn't have to be new released either.

yeah thats why im gonna recycle my xbox[I think it will be bettere off recycled] and not getin 360 and going for the ps3 no friggin RPG/Avdenture's so = bad

Give Jade empire a go. Great fun although not as stat heavy as Morrowind (another great game although I play that, note present tense, on the pc), it has more depth than Fable (which was a fun game) and is actually very funny with character interactions and so forth.Although I haven't played it, I've also heard that Sanmuru 2 is good on the XBox and I'm currently in the process of looking for it. It's quite rare and I'm looking in the 2nd hand sections of stores but I might have to pick it up from ebay. As a result though if you see it it's likely to be cheaper than buying a new game so go for it.

Yeah definately Jade Empire and some adventure games (kinda) to try are Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shenmue, and JSRF all made by Sega.

I've ben hearing alot about Jade empire, i'm gonna try it too. I do wish Breath of Fire was on the xbox, damn shame it isn't

jade is good, fable is so-sobut for the real nice ones you'll have to wait for 360.

Apart from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (follows on from Morrowind), which looks sublime, what others are coming to 360?

the Knight's of the old republic is good, but only if you are interested in star wars. The bard's tale is good, but a little lacking in the interaction district.

Xbox if not made for rpg games. the only good ones are fable and maybe knihts of old republic 1 and 2.... but kotor isnt really an rpg as much as 3rd person fighter..

I've been waiting for an rpg for a long time. Sadly, xbox does not deliver.Best rpg on xbox is probably SW:KOTOR. Most of the rpgs on the xbox are overrated, overhyped, etc.

fable is the best game. ive tried jade empire, it was ok, the fightings not as good as fables though.
