I'll give you mine to start.I was playing Dragon Warrior I and game froze while I was fighting a red slime. However, it soon unfroze and the "Enter Name" dialog showed right in the middle of battle (instead of the normal battle commands) in which I could actually "enter my name" like in the beginning of the game. After doing so, the slime would Attack and then the "enter Name" box would show again. After closing the name box 4 consecutive times, the normal fight window showed and I finished the battle where it then froze permanently. Weird. :lol:EDIT:I have another episode to share with you. My NES back then had defective RAM which resulted in peculiar behaviour such as random freezing (SMB3 during bonus games), falling through floors (Megaman 2), and no-show bosses (Megaman 6). However the WEIRDEST of them all was Megaman 3: It's like I had game genie stuck on or something for I had low gravity (Megaman falls VERY slowly) and a super high jump (like what happens when you jump out of a pit with right held on controller 2).

I love it when you play games and wished you saved right before the game freezes. Namely FFX-2 does this to me a random times and I ALWAYS forget to save often in the game.Oh, I remember having StarTropics for the NES and right before Chapter 3 ends (where you gotta wake the sleeping princess) it always froze during the stupid conversation, but in order for me to get past it, I had to rapidly tap the A button so it would hurry to get past that cutscene, and it actually worked.

I was playing Star Fox Adventures, and I walked off a waterfall and then Fox was suspended in mid-air and he started swimming through the air. Then I went over some boundary and everything was white. It was great.

I was playing this game called Nequimo Sayoda or something like that. It was a RPG from around 2000 wich i found under alot of dust. There was this level in wich you had to fight through alot of enemy's in a small corridor. When a boss karakter came to me and used a Sonic Blow or something like that to throw me away he threw me right in a wall. It was pretty cool cuz i could travel through the walls and just get to the end of the level. But when I activated the portal to the next level the screen froze and left about half my screen untouched. So i could play but only with half a screen left ^^

I like this topic. :wink4: Play Mortal Kombat for SNES. Fight single player matches all the way up to Goro or Shang Tsung and then have the second player press start during the match. Have a draw for the first 4 matches and then first player win the last match. Don't hit start! The max amount of matches normally is only 5, but you'll start a sixth match with the computer ai controlling it and the stage will be dark. If you win you don't get to do a fatality, strange, huh? Gets weirder,if you do it during Shang's battle the game goes into a strange set of battles that either loops or crashes, different things happen depending on who you are and how you manipulate the consequences. I just did it on my pc with ZSNES and it eventually crashed and even though i shut down the program i can still hear the stage music going on. Try it on a real snes and the end result could be different. Try it out i'd love to hear what happens to you.

I was playing Zelda ocarina of time, and when I jumped off a ledge, I got stuck into a wall. I went to the pause menu, and after I unpaused, i could go through walls.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1. I got stuck on the edge of a wall and kept spining around for about an hour. I kept the button pressed down and switch my tv over to watch some tv and switched back later. It racked up a billioin point. Sadly i dint land it.

I had an earthbound crash too! But mine was actually helpful...you know when you reach that part in Poos training where that old guy takes away all your body parts? Well I kept on doing the wrong answers and having to do it again and finally I got mad and I threw my control at the snes. I started answering the questions and instead of losing life, I gained more! By the end I had somewhere around 90,000 life for Poo, it was awesome!

In Ocarina of Time I was walking out of zora domain with the iron boots on and when I entered the next screen I was floating with the boots on. I tried to move and link started to vibrate between "falling" and "floating". He never stopped doing it.... I left it on for like an hour. Sounded funny though.

One time while playing, I can't rmember if it was Halo 1 or 2, I think it was 2. Anyways, There were a bunch of explosions all being triggered at once, it was insane, and oen guy got stuck up in a tree. Everyone tried blowing him up and shooting at him and everything to try and get his down, he was just like, "walking" in the tree. It was wierd, there had to be a reset to get him down. The only other crash I remember is Goldeneye 64, + 3 players, plus rocket rocket launchers with custom Game Shark code, making it so that there was always 6 bullets in the barrel. Infinate rockets without reload, man it was sweet up until the game froze.

My copy of Shadow of Memories was second hand and particuarly grubby. When I played through one of the scenes, a two second clip of the dialogue (which happened to be an old woman choaking/talking) kept playing over and over while the rest of the scene went on normally. Thankfully it ended when the cutscene did.Another problem I had was in Dark Cloud, one of the first RPGs of the PS2 where the levels are randomly generated. A glitch meant that two rooms overlapped. My character fell through the gap and just kept on falling from the top of the screen to the bottom in a loop for eternity.

Good ol' Secret of Mana for the SNES is notorious for locking-up. I rmember spending the better part of my free time for a month playing it, then having it randomly lock-up while flying. I turned the game back on, and my saved game was (of course) gone. The game would also lose it's saved file by having the cartridge bumped into or anything like that. Good times^^

If you manage to crash a PSP (I've managed to do it a few times), you actually get a BSOD and it has a message on the lines of, "This isn't our fault, blame the third party software you're running"

I was playing Battlefield 2 with my new computer all graphs on high. Then suddenly, the program shut down and i received a black screen with the text "CPU not found". Then i restarted the computer, and it said "CPU has been changed..." after that, everything worked fine.
