Hmmm. South Park SOMETIMES has satirical, clever humour, and the times when it hits the target are very good indeed, but just as often they come up with episodes full of humourless obscenities which detract from the public perception of the series and support the arguement that the show is created with the sole purpose of trying to offend everyone. Family guy is consistantly mediocre, SP fluctuates wildly between greatness and inanity.

I see what your saying, but I can't think of an episode that was ONLY designed for shock value. Everything seems to have some underlying humor.

Family Guy is cooler South Park has crappy animation

SP is not supposed to look amazing. It's done with cutouts. In my opinion, it adds to the humor.

family guy is a lot better.

Care to elaborate?

i prefer sth park to family guy cus its juts funnierfamily guy is a little slower witht he comedy and sth park is just right in ur face

Family Guy is funnier cuz it's MORE random than South Park. South Park may be really random, but Family Guy has random Chicken Fights that his just hilarious to me =p

South park isn't random, it's always based on social/political/etc. comentary on the satire scale. On the discussion, both are good enough.

SOUTH PARK ANYDAY FAMILY GUY ALWAYS HAS THE PART WHERE THEY GO REMEBER THAT TIME OR YER LIKE THAT TIME THEY ALWAYS ARE ON TOPICS THAT HAVE HAPPENED THEY NEVER STAY ON ONE TOPIC ITS STUPID.AT LEAST WITH SOUTH PARK YOU GET A LAUGH, BUT I DO ADMIT I OWN FAMILY GUY SEASON 2 ON DVD AND HAVE RENTED FAMILY GUY 1+3 AND SEEN THE MOVIE BUT I MEAN I ONLY WATCH IT FOR A CHANGE BUT THEN AGAIN IT IS ONLY UP TO SEASON 5 AND SOUTH PARK IS UP TO SEASON 10 SO FAMILY GUY DOES HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF GETTING BETTER :wink4: :wink4: :wink4:

South Park is hilarious is intelligent comedy while Family Guy is hilarious in dumb comedy. South Park always has some social commentary, and I love that. When it just comes to pure enjoyment, though, Family Guy wins.
