final fantasy tactics is my fave becouse of the gamplay my least fav is the one that came after xi couse they changed gameplay

I've only played a few FF games and I liked them all.If I had to choose a best from those...FFVI. (FF6)The story was quite interesting... well mostly the beginning half. Towards the end it became a bit crappy. I liked the characters especially Shadow. 
Gameplay was good, just like most other FF games and overall I had a good time playing it.

I seem to like em all. I have only played ffx,x-2 and xii. And all of them were superb, but i liked ffxii the best. Great story and a long one too.

FFVII is my favorite, mainly because it was the first one I played and it was surprisingly very fun even though I had no idea what I was doing, my least favorite would have to be FFX2 I loved the first one, but the sequel was just horrible =/

FFVI prolly has the best storyline in my opinion, i liked the game play of FFV the best however.while i agree that FFVII is incredibly overrated, it wasnt bad, but i'd have to say that i hated FFXII the most. i played it all of about 5 minutes and didnt like it at all.

I don't know if something's wrong with me, but I hated FFX. For me, there were way too many cutscenes and I didn't get to do anything for about the first four hours or so, besides walking and fighting battles that were part of the story. I gave up after that. Am I just missing something or what?anyway, my favorite was the original. It was the first one I played through completely, and I love having the ability to choose your character's classes.

My favorite would have to be FFVII but my least favorite would have to be Crystal Chronicles because it just felt way to short.

My most favorite Final fantasy hands down is final fantasy IV "US" the hole kain and cecil was epic. Loved the story wish it would get a bigger remake though then a ds title. I aslo really did enjoy VIII and X i liked the characters in both of those games. The graphics were equally amazing for their times. The battle system in both were some of my favorite ever for a turn based game. But overall i just liked IV more cause im all about the realism of the game. And in IV almost every main character died. I mean hell yeah. Least favorite though well thats a no brainer FFx-2 i mean wtf that game was horrible. in reality each FF has their own thing we all loved about that genre. VII for its gothic emo thing / Open for interpatation ending. VII for its dark sided story something almost out of hell if you stop and think about it. IX for its fruity loving vibrant story with characters that seem like something off of a kindergarden fingerpainting contest after a round of shrooms. X for showing video games can make people "Almost Cry" XI for showing that FF is really a world to enjoy. XII for its voice acting.... i mean wow that was 100% amazing i never have heard such a great sound track ina game. The story was very forgettable. but some of the bosses and Gameplay in that game made it without doubt the hardest FF to date.
