i loved the game because of the cool combo type battle system. alittle disappointing though because there were only three playable characters in the game

This game was overlooked big time. The game itself was trully original. This was the first game I beat.

I love this game...They did a good think mixing the rpg elements with the action.10 for me I recommend this game to everyone how hasnt played it...

Legend of legaian is a one of a best game i played.We can use a combo, is so cool....And you can capture a monster and can use them.. ( I like this game)

It is an awesome game and I never got passed the second boss! urgh! I hired it out, it was great..fantastic LOVED it, but when I went back with prospects of buying it..some d@#% head stole it when the store got broken into..never have I seen it again...grr..

Wow, waves of nostalgia coming across me reading through this. Loved that game, still have my old disc with its tree emblem on the cover and everything. Combo system made random encounters worth it sense each random battle that would otherwise be a chore to take care of was an opportunity to figure out a new combo to use in serious encounters. Linking the end part of one combo into the beggining of another to do multiple attacks threw in some stratagy as well, and the storyline for its time was pretty good.Such a pity it came out right as another FF did, which made it completely ignored by the masses.

i loved the game but i really wish the story was fixed.....like their ages.....gala gets master teacher at 17 but it says he is younger and the main character and the girl are like 11 or 14....so confusing.....

well that was a great gamemy brother love itwell i haven't played it that much, but i guess the power of the game was indeed the battle phasewhere u can make lots damage & combos

what was wrong with the graphics? youve gotta look at it from a technical point of view, first of all the battle graphics were something else entirely. thats bound to eat up a lot of space. second, the overview graphics were somewhat similar to ff7 except slightly better, thus even more space, and last but not least, the storyline and characters, hence you have an awesome game with a new battle style and all on one disc!

i though the demo was intense. for me, the boss was the green creature.i wanted more after i clear the demo. it was exciting to execute the special arts.i didn't think graphic-wise back then, it's psx after all.

if you guys are really good in this game can u tell me how to kill that freaking LAPIS the bird "special quest"and the boss is super easy because your lvl is too high for him to kill you ^_^o yeah every character has 14 skills + 1 miracle arts =15 but there is more its like combining combos sometimes combos are stronger than miracle arts i promise that!

It held my attention, and was fun to play, so it gets credit for that, but as far as story goes, it wasnt really that special. There was maybe one scene where it pulled at my emotions and past that it was just kind of meh. It's the kind of RPG you play for gameplay and not story, but it was still more successful than Legend of Dragoon IMO

legaia was my first rpg so i will always like it but it was an amazing game in its own respect. the spirirt meter with the miracle arts and everything was really cool and the idea of absorbing certain creatures to use them as your magic was cool i thought. overall an awesome game but the second on ps2 sucked

it was hard to acquire some of those monsters i get so mad hunting them all down and trying to absorb them
