This game rules because adell owns all i love him he the man and u can even use adell and lots of people from the first game and its like soooo cool

Although I love how the 2nd one improved many things from the first, I like Disgaea's 1 cast better. They were much more insane than 2's more sane cast, that and there was MUCH more Prinny abuse in one. And everyone one knows that abusing exploding penguins is always fun!

Good game, Currently on 3rd play through with average party level of 600+. I prefered Disgaea 1. The humour in 2 felt very forced to me.Edit: Oh yeah and the endings for Disgaea 2 were lousy.

I believe this is the best strategy rpg game periiod. It has alittle of everything in it.

I didn't find the characters as lovable as the first (except Etna) but it's a very worthy sequel and i certainly pre ordered it.

The game had Etna and everyones favorite Love Freak, so it's all good.

Rozalin is made of pure win and boobage. Adell doesn't actually have a "Rider Kick" like attack, but the closest move he has to it is called Soaring Fire, in which he jumps, spins around, and attacks a cross shaped area.Besides, his Vulcan Blaze is much cooler. Seeing Adell flip out and PWN an enemy like that is just so damn cool.

Disgaea II was such an excellent title, I really was disappointed when it ended. I hope for a Disgaea III on PS3, and maybe it'll finally look like a PS2-era game with hi-res sprites!

I didn't like the storyline of Disgaea 2 as much, but the game play certainly improved. The graphic didn't improve much either.

I have played the game. It is interesting and had a good story although I think that the first one is more intriguing

Come onnnnnnnnnDIsgaea 2 is awesome (as Disgaea 1 was). Challenging, cool characters, good history (first was better). And omg, how can a game you feel like playing for more then 200 hours not be awesome!?!? I mean, lvl 9999 is insane. 895739475739589 professions......one of the best tactical RPG ever.Cheers

I got kinda burned out on it a few weeks ago, but I'm almost through the main story. I doubt I'll be keeping it to get every class and extra level though, I'm not a 100% completionist with most games.

If any of you haven't heard. Laharl is in the game but he isn't the main character but once you pass the bill and beat him you get him on your team and he is pretty powerful. So I think you should train your characters to a decent lvl and start capturing catbeasts or whatever their name is called. But before you catch it make sure you lvl it up a bit by throwing other catbeasts onto it. That should make fighting Laharl alot easier. And for those of you who went and spent money on maki kingdom. You better have a good tolerance for it because to tell you one thing I plan on trading it in.

This game is so awesome. I've recently gotten really into it, even though I'm not that far yet. The only flaws are the kind of stupid story and voice acting.

I know that I must have been living in a bush or something, but when I saw disgaea 2 in the shops today, I just thought "huh, so a sequel's out eh?". And immidietly bought it. So, tell me, do you think I chose the right thing? according to what i've read on this board, most people think so. But still, i haven't played it yet, and i'm not at the same place as my PS2 at the moment. I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out
