when i was like, 10, i had a huge crush on sailor moon.I confess. In the years I've been an anime fan, I've had crushes on a lot of anime characters. But Washu from Tenchi Muyo is the best one. She's beautiful, smart, and she's a red-head. I love her. I'm married to her. It's possible to marry an anime character. Go to www.gabe-e.com/myfc to marry an anime character. Hmmm, it's not really falling in love with the characters on my end... There's a share of characters that I like from series, but their personalities are far off from the real type people I like.Most series, the characters I like are either:- The really eccentric type, always hyper and stuff- The extremely serious or monotone type, the ones that nearly don't talk or are overly serious.A few examples:- Motoko from Love Hina- Meru Otonashi from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei- Kiri Komori from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei- Suigintou from Rozen Maiden- Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club- Rei Ayanami from Evangelion- Kagami from Lucky Star- Tsuruya from Haruhi Suzumiya- Isumi from Hayate no Gotoku- Sakuya from Hayate no Gotokuetc!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! this is a good one. yes. i'm afraid. 
well....one explanation is the fact that i've been exposed to anime starting when i was just a very little kid. the first anime i watched was when i was like 4 or 5 and it was i think FLCL when it was still in japan. that coincided with the time i started liking girls. if thats not a satisfying enough answer, then i quess i really dont know why..... just how.......tell me why you think something is "Cute" or "Cool" looking.... i dont know. but anyways i have a very vivid imagination. so they will always be my hoes in my mind. lulz

I wouldn't say that I have ever "loved an anime character" per se but there WERE some that I thought were cute. Mind you I'm putting a very strong emphasis on the word were, as in past tense.

When I was younger I had a crush on every single Sailor Moon girl, but never more than one at a time. I think Mercury ended up being the one I crushed on the most though. (Don't tell my wife. Lol.)

She was from S-CRY-ED. Sherry or Sherries or what ever her name was. Made me cry a little on the inside but it was an awesome show.

Oh yeah. I've had many anime crushes in my life. 
My first was Misty from Pokemon, she lasted through Grade 3 and 4 then I moved on to Sora from Digimon who lasted from Grade 5 to 7. She was then replaced by Shinobu from Love Hina by the time I was first year who was replaced by Sakura Kinomoto from Card Captor Sakura when I was second year who was replaced by Ichigo from Please Teacher, Sora again, then Mint Blancmanche from Galaxy Angels in the same year respectively. By the time I was third year I had two anime crushes: Mint Blancmanche and Makie Sasaki from Negima. By first year college I moved on to All three girls in Powerpuff Girls Z. Today, I'm back to loving girls from Negima, but this time I'm limited to NODOKA MIYAZAKI and only Nodoka Miyazaki... ... okay maybe her best friend Yue Ayase But I still love Nodoka more!So in total I've had uhmm... 12 anime crushes, mostly short-haired lolis because they're so darn cute!

omfg no way thats hilarious! who are you married to? lol i thought a few characters were hot never in love thoughThis is quite odd if you think about it... but it happens because some characters are just lovely... Search the internet and you'll find sites that let you "marry" your favorite anime/manga character

Um, not really.But...one of my friends was really obsessed with this character named Fai. D. Flowright in Tsubsasa Chronicles.And yeah...she was SO obsessed with him that I don't even think it counts as love anymore.Love =/= obsession.

Marry fictional chars?? That's pretty odd, even in Japan. I like a lot of chars in game and animes or even Tv series, but i would never want to marry them.You'd be surprised how desperate people get. I believe there has been a handful of cases of people wanting to marry cartoons in Japan (where else?).
