Ehh, I think I can understand.. All the people of the opposite sex I talk to/see/work with are all, um, not nice (to put it VERY mildly). And yeah I've had crushes on anime characters. Can't really remember which ones, though. It was quite awhile ago..

Not really... I mean sure they can be attractive in the way that they can be drawn and portrayed to be everything a male or female wants, but the character is a false depiction nothing more. Much as we all hate it, after all I'm sure men and women are tired of hunting for the perfect person only to be disappointed.

Ive develpoed a couple crushes myself. One beig Rukia from bleach, shes pretty cool. Another two are Raven and Starfire from Teen Titans, if that counts as an anime.

I know to an extent what physical and exterior characteristics make them 'beautiful' or 'handsome', but I don't fall in love with them. Besides, they are fake so there is no point to have unrequited love, no?

Probably have, Anime and Mangas are able to create the most ridiculous girls around that absolutely adorable. The pen is mightier than the sword in this case.

That's a no for me. Though there are few anime couples that I am madly supportive of.However, my older sister definitely developed crushes on anime characters. I remember back in high school we were watching a music vid for Trigun and Vash flashes on screen looking scruffy with a beard, and my sister says, "You know, I think I'm starting to like my anime men to look a bit more gruff." And I'm like, "Say whaaa?"

So many animes... so many crushes on characters therein. I would have to say Yusuke from Yuu Yuu Hakusho was my first and favorite. What can I say? I always fell in love with the bad boy with a golden heart.
