Yeah, some are cute. Some are hot. Some are drop-dead sexy GORGEOUS. But this concept of "falling in love with" or "marrying" them is quite nonsensical. You cant have any real affection for someone who does not actually exist, only lust over an image.I think some are cute, but to fall in love and marry them? I call that pathetic.

Yes. I used to. Not so much 'falling in love' now, it is more like 'liking'.My friends used to put the word 'anime geek' or you guys might have heard the 'otaku' word means anime nerd.

When I was a kid, I developed this massive crush on the 'misunderstood-hero' version of Lance in the pokemon comics when I learnt that he was actually doing 'bad stuff for the pokemon' in the end. Also, when watching anime with characters that at first glance seem "meh" or "weird..." (Mushishi and Mononoke come to mind...) I find that I end up liking them the most.All in all, I guess its not so much the characters I "fall in love" with, but the ideals or actions they portray. Though I can't say I've ever liked anything to the point of extreme fangirl-ism...its kinda scary to think about, actually.

Girls in my class just adore handsome,cute,etc boy anime characters, especially koreans, Man, so if I'm an anime character or a korean and have a show, they'd have a crush on me??Ha! not really, there simply playing and fooling 'em selves. Masturba**** is diff though hahaha )

Ok thank you. I am very old and not very wise, but I hope so.I confess. In the years I've been an anime fan, I've had crushes on a lot of anime characters. But Washu from Tenchi Muyo is the best one. I hate to admit it but i really admire Prince Geric from Shannon Hale's "the Goose Girl" *sigh* Oh yeah for sometime it was Edward Cullen when i was obsesed with twilight but i got over it (i think)
