I really like Japanese. That's what compelled me to study the language in the first place :happybday:. Besides that, I think French comes in a close second, if only because the way the French speak is pleasing to my ears even though I don't understand a word of it, and my friend is saying something obscene. And then Cantonese, though it's actually a dialect and doesn't really count as a language.

Okay, fluent in Albanian (my native tounge), Slovenian, English; currently learning French and Latin (we don't speak it, we just translate, read etc.)...Hm, I understand a lot of Spanish, as I watched whole bunch of telenovelas (nothing interesting outside, TV was right there...), speak almost every languange of the Balkans (very similiar to Slovenian, except Macedonian, Greek & Bulgarian), but I really would like to learn some exotic languange, maybe Japanese or Indian.Yeah, other languanges are rather boring, if you speak Latin - English, French, Italian, Spanish have the same roots, Romanian is the only living languange that is almost the same as Latin, other European languanges are more or less derived from the four mentioned earlier...

I only speak English fluently, although I love the Italian language. I think it's beautiful when spoken correctly. I especially like it when it's sung, as the long vowels make for beautiful songs.

As for the written language itself, I believe Korean is beautiful in its phonetic word construction's complexity. For how a language appeals to the ears, Japanese is easy to listen to and has a positive tone.Having the most meaningful diction of words in the language, I would have to choose English.

I'm stuck on English as Japanese required me to continue practising with other people and now I do not know anyone who speaks it. English is difficult as it uses parts of most other languages.pc_doc

I basically only speak English, but through elementary school we had to go to compulsary language classes to learn German. I think the prettiest language is Japanese, but maybe that's just how it translates...sometimes poorly. :milo2:
