fixedI think personally they should retire Mario, not immediately, but gradually, to prevent the whole sonic the hedgehog feel that has been around since sonic 3d. Introduce some new characters and focus the game on them instead of Mario then slowly and gracefully retire him. make him the king of the mushroom kingdom since he has solely been the reason the kingdom is still around.Nintendo stopping Mario would not be the best idea on earth. That is, they are still making money off of the franchise. Secondly the ONLY way Mario stops, is if Nintendo stops making consoles
for televisions and handhelds.
