Hey man Mario is God. He is unfallable, except when Yoshi's in town.

I don't think Mario should ever leave Nintendo. He's probably the most famous video game character of all time. He has done everything twice, and he continues to go strong. I think Nintendo knows what they have going with Mario.

I don't think firing Mario is good. What's wrong with the maskot, as long as it's a good game, no matter who the mascot is. For example, I don't like Crash Bandicote, but I still like the Crash Team Racing

I thought that mario would have died already but it hasn't. I think mario is always lovable for each generation of kids and they see him as something enjoyable. I don't think it will be retired anytime soon. Not sure if I want him to be.

do you think nintendo should stop making mario games and focus on making a new mascot? Another question would be what would that say about nintendos reputation?

Mario is a great Mascot. They shouldnt just change it, however, they need to stop whoring Mario out like they've been doing. I dont want to play Mario Golf or Tennis or DDR Zomg. I just want a real Mario game. They're wasting their time with the other crap

i think they should go on making old-school SNES mario games <_<

Agreed. Side-scrolling Mario games rank much higher than newer games like Mario Sunshine. Also, Mario has excellent RPG potential as illustrated by Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario. Retiring a legendary gaming icon such as him would be a bad move by Nintendo.

Mario should retire when Sagiro(sorry if I spelled it wrong) does.I mean he thought him up so Mario should retire with him.And to me it seems Sagiro is never gonna leave Nintendo without a fight.

Everyone knows retro games were the best. remember how hard it was to complete games like mario? and now we can complete them in a matter of days rather than months? They focus too much on the graphics nowadays, NOBODY CARED BACK THEN YOU KNOW!

I dont think you will ever see nintendo retiring mario as he is their mascot as sonic is for sega and well Ratchet and Jak are for sony. Its because of mario that nintendo has its brand name image recognition besides zelda and metroid

I guess mario should retire by now.. classics don't always bore you but making new ones are just a waste.
