If Mario had a new job he would need a new means of travel, as plumbers use pipes during their jobs. Mario will stay as long as people care about him and Nintendo makes a lot of money of of him.@lilaznkilla: I think the closest is Super Mario Sunshine, but there is no game where he just does a plumber's job, fixing pipes and whatnot.-My 200th post

I think nintendo should halt their mario sports games, yes. But not Mario himself, the majority of real Mario games that have been created, or quite popular or people love to play them alot. Example: Super Mario 64, Super Mario rpg, and even Super Mario brothers 3. Nintendo should unleashed of a Mario game of what they did years ago. A true platformer or a grand adventure game, even roleplaying for that matter. Why you ask? None of these Mario sports games even compare to the actuall Mario games.

Mario is as timeless as time itself. I don't think they should ever retire him, nor do I think they ever actually will.

I love all of the original side scrollers. I could do without some of the silly games they are making just to keep Mario out there though.

Well Mario games are so overrated...I mean wow, it was cool and all in the 80s and 90s, but now it's a dirt flock.

nope. Mario is a simple character, hes a plumber trying to sdave the princess. They made him s simple so they could reuse him over and over again.
