I like german punk a lot (like Schleimkeim, Kollektiver Blutsturz, Razzia, o.g.). also russian punk ... let's say, punk in general.I also listen to a lot of folk and folkbands (scottish, irish, spanish o.g.), play whistles, bagpipes and nay-flute by myself.Also I love Ska, Ska-Punk, Hardcore, Hardcorepunk, Folk-Punk, a little bit blues.

While all of these genres have merit, I believe Jazz and blues (ska should not have been included with this lump) are extraordinarily important. Without these two genres nobody would be listening to anything even resembling rock and roll.PS- If you really want to explore the roots of modern music, search out any of Robert Johnsons' recordings.
