My favorite band is Metallica but I'm into all kinds of bands. I saw Tenacious D live a couple of months ago, and I'm going to see Black Sabbath with Megadeth opening for them in the near future! :hate2:

Rap/Hip-hop/R&B - I like R&B most, it suits me in some ways. Rap is great, too.

I voted for Rap / Hip Hop / R&B. Though, the 3 aren't the same genre.

GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULLS! HIP HOP IS NOT R&B! AND RAP DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY SUCK!

i like rock but not just any rock spanish rock because im hispanic and its reallly co0ol to relaate to ur heritage also their mostly about loveand being dumped so its kinda co0l i like that moo0shie stuff :) but i also listen to english rock so its preetty great

I'm sure this has been mentioned before in these 61 pages that I don't want to read and that are probably mostly filled with frothing at the mouth idiots who don't know any better with posts that don't even make complete sentences... but why are Hip Hop and R&B classified as the same thing here? Honestly, you prejudiced idiots aren't bright enough to tell the difference between genres so you don't deserve to be proper judges of music. I'm tired of having to argue against this type of musical ignorance time and time again. GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULLS! HIP HOP IS NOT R&B! AND RAP DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY SUCK! Now stfu kiddies and actually learn something about music before having one of those flawed opinions. That way you'll look lss like an idiot, though I doubt you'll completely eliminate it from your being this lifetime.

Amen.Seriously, I love music but all the ignorance/bad taste on these music threads gives me a headache.Having said that, I'm a firm believer that there is fantastic, beautiful, powerful, moving music in EVERY single genre.

I chose rock and alternative, and I mean it, I love the old grunge stuff (not just Nirvana before you ask) and especially the riot grrrl genre, if youve heard of it...

I would have to say jazz. Why are jazz, blues and ska grouped together? They are all usually completely different from each other. Why is classical grouped with instrumental? The jazz I like is completely instrumental. I guess you were trying to save space is all.Oh yeah, and you should add funk/soul and possibly jam band.

I mostly listen to either anime/game music or simply to bands that made some anime music.Some of those I could name like Orange Range and High and Mighty Colors.
