metal, classical, rock, and jazz.and I mean real metal not slipknot or static x. im talking iron maiden, old metallica, dream theater, children of bodom, symphony x, etc.i've never really had a taste for rap, seems too repetitive and it all sounds the same to me. it's over vulgar and gives rich white kids a bad impression.

I love Ska. Mainly becuase most music nowadays is teenagers banging their heads to a single fret solo.

Well... I'm hightly into metal things... singing being Morningless, a death metal band from Dolbeau ( Quebec ). My favorite bands would be Dark tranquillity... In Flames... At the gates... Opeth... mostly bands from sweden. But here are some good news! Quebec also have its own metal scene! My favourite type of music is rock, punk, or alternative. My favourite bands are probable Linkin Park, Bowling for Soup, JET, and Sum 41. Linkin Park friggin kicks butt.

it was really hard to choose which category to pick because i kind of fall into several categories.i picked rock/alternative, but also fall into the classical and anime categories.a another way to do this topic would of had everyone just post what they like, then tally up the posts after a year or so, and lock the topic or just tally them up again another time.but i guess a poll was good a well

I listen to Rock all the time - mostly Queen - but hey they are IMO the best band ever! Got tickets to the new tour thats how much of a Queen fan I am.

didn't fill out the poll due to liking more than one typeI usually end up listening to Metal, industrial etc, as well as most types of Jazz, and then some electronica (NOT techno) and then of course, being a nerd, I listend to game soundtracks, etc.
