It's an okay game. I give them kudos for trying, but overall it's pretty boring.

It was okay, but the last boss was really hard though, I couldn't ever beat the game at all.

i think this game is great because of the coop mode the fatalities are good too the fighting isnt that great

Honestly, I thought it SUCKED!!! Compared to the rest of the MK series, Shaolin Monks just wasn't all that great.

i think is pretty good not as good as deception but its okay.What do you guys think of this game? Personally i dont like what they did, i think they should of stuck with the old gameplay instead of trying this new approach.

As far as two player PS2 games are concerned I think it would be really hard to find a better game then MK: Shao Lin Monks. Yes Shao Khan is freaking hard as hell but COME ON! He should be. He's the flipping lord of Mortal Kombat. I hate games that everyone and their brother's uncle can beat, that's so cheap, it was never like that in the old days of the NES. Beating a game was braggable, now it's passe. If you didn't beat the game everyone acts like your some kind of retard. The only thing I would complain about is that they needed more moves and Fatalities for Scorpion and Sub-Zero. They are both good characters in the game but not quite as balanced. 2 player mode is definitly the way that game was meant to be played. Kung Lao and Liu Kang freakin rule in this game and it's about time they had their own game. I can't see why the general concensous is that MK sucks. It revolutionized the fighting genre. Some would see this game as just a buch of button mashing and repetitive platforming but when you come down to it isn't every game techinicaly button mashing? I mean you do press down on the buttons for EVERY game so how can one game be called button mashing when you technicaly mash buttons for every game? I don't know just a thought. But overall I love this game and anybody who's a MK fan should definitly pick it up. It's totaly worth it.

it was good, the fighting style of it was remarkable and the stuff you have to go through was awesome so i'd say that mortal kombat shoalin monks was awesome

Great game! I have it for the PS2 and my girl and I love playing the Co-op mode. Decent graphics, nice moves, and good versus mode, if you're looking for a game to pass the time on with a friend then I would recommend it!

I had issues with the controls so because of that I didn't really like the game. I do applaud them for trying something new though.

This game was a blast to play with my bro. What made it better was subzero and scorpion skins. My bro and I could be our favorite ninjas. This was just another Mortal Kombat adventure game. Pretty good if you weren't looking for a regular fighter.

this game is pretty old now.I beat the game 5 or more times with my cousin and by myselfi think its a fun game to play
